Considering Mick Foley might arrive in T.N.A. are fans excited about a Foley going to T.N.A. What can Mick Foley possibly bring to the "table" other than just name recognition. Can he do for Christian Cage what he did for Edge. Mick Foley to Christian: Your the best wrestler in all T.N.A. You shouldn't be taking a back seat to no one.
What can they do with Foley? General Manager ? Just a Manager,
Part time announcer? Should he wrestle ? Will Mick Foley have any type of impact in T.N.A. other than just the time of his arrival? A Cactus Jack Return?
I'm a fan of Mick Foley , but does he still have anything left to give?
I think So, but what do you believe?
Cactus Jack would be great, if he was 15 years younger. At his current age, i dont think he can add much from an in ring standpoint. If he does wrestle i'd be suprised if he does more than a couple of matches a few months apart.

Wrestlers whoring out the "coming out of retirement" angle is pretty fucking ignoring. And the last thing TNA needs is one more guy who's past it taking up air time. Tha said, a fued with Abyss is the only thing that interests me, purely from a storyline standpoint. The matches would of course break down into garbagefests. A fued with Joe could work if Joe was billing to take some bumps otherwise it could turn out as terrible as Foley/Kawada, but again it could be good simply because their mini-fued in ROH was enjoyable.

I think the biggest thing that many fans don't realize is, you often need big name veterans to get young guys over. Think about every star in wrestling, and how almost all of them had to feud with many veterans to get them over and to a elite level. TNA has given the World Title to Joe, Styles, and Abyss. But none of them were over enough to stay world champs for a long time. Without Jarrett, Angle, Foley, Nash and Sting. TNA wouldn't have the TV deal they have, on the network they have. If every PPV they had Joe vs Roode, AJ vs Abyss, Storm vs Christan, TNA wouldn't be nearly as popular as it has become. Say what you want about the wrestlers past their prime, but they still draw and assets to the show.
For TNA to take it to next level, they need to get some of these young guys over, and too become bigger names then the veterans. Anybody could give a young guy the title, or have them wrestle in main events, but if they don't get over and don't sell there's no point. So thats why you need the veterans to carry the show until, these young guys get over, and find the right character for them. Thats why Foley was brought in, he will help try to get the younger wrestlers over and to a star level, while making the current show better. If Foley helps just one of these young guys get over and that wrestler becomes household name, him going to TNA would be a monster success.
So I think fans of TNA should worry more about how to get some of their young talent to turn into stars. Instead of worrying about them adding veteran big name wrestlers to the show, or if a veteran beats a young guy in a big match here and there. Because thats the problem, if Styles/Christian/Joe were over character wise like Orton/Edge/Cena. TNA wouldn't have to keep bringing in veterans to carry the show, while trying to get these young guys over. As soon as one of these young guys step up I'm 99.9 percent sure TNA will let that wrestler run with it. But honestly it's probably just gonna take some time. Guys like Foley, Stone Cold, Rock, Edge, HHH and many others didn't turn into superstars overnight. Sometimes it just takes that right storyline, feud or character adjustment to get to that level. TNA's young talent has plenty of potential to do it, they just need to find it. Until then there's nothing wrong with bringing veterans who make your current show more entertaining.
