Well, in TNA's short six year history, I ask this question. Who do you think has made the biggest TNA Debut? From the Asylum in Nashville, to Fox Sports Network, to now, the Impact Zone! who do you think has made a bigger Impact, no pun intended?
IF I had to narrow it down, I'd say the obvious, Kurt F'N Angle. I remember reading he left WWE, and the first thing I said "TNA!" I thought of all the matches we will see. Nobody believed me, said he'll return to WWE. Said he'll never go, and look what happened a month later. In TNA. I was shocked seeing the video too. Because it was not leaked, not hyped, it was just basically a video of a new superstar in TNA, and it was Kurt Angle. I loved it.
But, I also loved Booker T's debut. He's one of my favorites all-time, and I think if it really came down to it, Booker T is more commited to TNA, than Angle. I like both, I think both made a big impact, but Booker's was my favorite, and Angle's was the biggest impact, period.....IMO.

I'm a casual fan of TNA at best, so I don't know all debuts and how they were built.
But I agree in that Kurt's was one of the best...especially how there was a major announcement to be made at a PPV, and the iinternet was saying it's their move to spike or whatever...when in fact it was angle. Pure brilliance
I have a couple. Jeff Hardy's was as a mystery opponent for AJ Styles when his actual opponent had gotten injured.
Raven was released from WWE (Lets say Friday, but i cant remember) then debuted in TNA attacking Jarrett & stealing the belt on Wednesday.
Rhino's was good aswell. Raven had just defended his belt when Jarrett came to ringside. Jarrett said he had a suprise for Raven & told him to turn around. Raven did & Rhino hit him with the Gore.
Altho not a proper debut, the debut of the teaming of Harris & Storm. On one of the first TNA Weekly PPV's their was a tag tournament. The Rainbow express (A gay Tag team) where due to face the Dupp's (Rednecks featuring the future Trevor Murdoch). The Dupps refused to have the match because of their opponents lifestyle. Some agent got Harris & Storm as they were leaving & told them to go to the ring as they are & compete. Two guys randomly thrown together turned out to be the greatest team in TNA history.
The last & most obvious one is Kurt Angle. No-body expected it & for TNA to keep something that big a secret in this day & age is almost impossible. Their was a video on YouTube the day after recorded on a camera phone, the place literally exploded when the video played.

I liked the Christian Cage debut, thought it was well planned out and although i was half expecting it, it was still good to see.

I'd say Kurt Angle as well. If nothing else for being in the day and age we are with the net, he was by far the biggest surprise. People kind of figured others, including Booker T would show up when they did... But Angle joining TNA may have been on the minds of 2-5% of the fans because of the Spike TV announcement being the obvious choice for the announcement on that PPV. THis is kind of suprise is what wrestling has lacked and needs to return to.
