- Just days after surviving the King Of The Mountain match, STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe will defend the gold against Kaz, who earned a shot at the title last week by winning the first-ever X Division King of the Mountain match! Joe has the momentum, while Kaz was demolished by Scott Steiner and Petey Williams at Slammiversary. The question is, who will walk out with the title in a bout among TNA's young lions?
- Speaking of Joe, there's controversy involving his win at the Pay-Per-View, as Kevin Nash cost Booker T his shot at the gold. Will Nash explain his actions this Thursday night? How will Booker T react to what went down? Tune in and find out!
- After his wife Karen cost him his match against AJ Styles on Sunday, Kurt Angle was irate backstage after the Pay-Per-View. In fact, Kurt is promising things are about to get ugly. What will happen when Kurt and Karen are in the same building again? Will all hell break loose?
- Plus, the TNA Knockouts will be in action as it will be Gail Kim taking on Velvet Sky of The Beautiful People!
- Also, Thursday's broadcast will feature a preview of the upcoming World X Cup Tournament as Doi and Yoshino of Team Japan (representing the Dragon Gate promotion) will take on The Motor City Machine Guns!

Re: iMPACT! - June 12th 2008 - TNA World title: Samoa Joe vs Kaz, Team Japan vs MCMG
- Reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe defeated Kaz. Following the bout, Booker T came to the ring and claimed Joe couldn’t call himself champion after Nash screwed Booker out of winning the gold at Slammiversary. Later in the broadcast, Samoa Joe told Booker T he would have his shot at the gold at the Victory Road event.
- After his wife Karen Angle cost him the bout against AJ Styles at Slammiversary, Kurt Angle claimed he was getting someone to hurt Karen since he couldn’t touch her. At the end of the broadcast, it was TNA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong that attacked Karen!
- In the main event of the broadcast, it was a Lumberjack Match with Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles. The numbers game was too much for Styles, as Kurt capitalized to get the win. After the bout, Angle, Tomko and Team 3D were going to put AJ, Christian Cage and Matt Morgan through tables, but Abyss made a surprise appearance to even the odds! During the carnage, Awesome Kong came out to attack Karen Angle.
- In a World X Cup preview bout, The Motor City Machineguns defeated Team Japan’s Doi and Yoshino
- The Latin American Xchange successfully defended the TNA World Tag Team Championship against Robert Roode and James Storm, despite a controversial finish to the first fall that saw Roode and Storm temporarily crowned new tag team champs. The referee restarted it, leading to LAX winning. Following the bout, Storm, Roode and Jacqueline viciously beat their opponents with leather straps.
- Gail Kim defeated Velvet Sky, then gave her a taste of her own medicine and gave her the paper bag treatment.
- Koslov of Team International (along with Daivari) defeated Curry Man
- “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt defeated Consequences Creed in X Division action. After the bout, “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal tried to go after Dutt, but Dutt got away. Lethal challenged Dutt to a bout next Thursday night.

Re: iMPACT! - June 12th 2008 - TNA World title: Samoa Joe vs Kaz, Team Japan vs MCMG
That was one of the best episodes of iMPACT! this year, maybe the best. Every single match was good. Couple things that stood out to me:
I enjoyed the Kaz/Joe match, but enough with the pity world title matches for Kaz. TNA needs to actually push him. I realize he's not a huge name, and he basically gets put in those match because of his in-ring skill (which by itself, isn't a bad thing), but TNA needs to make a decision. Kaz can't have random title matches with Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, then go back to tag-teaming with Super Eric. Put him in a real, high-profile feud, and/or give him a title. I don't like to be teased.
Alex Koslov impressed me against Daniels. I had never seen him wrestle before.
Motor City vs. Team Japan was like chaotic poetry. I think TNA needs a few Japanese wrestlers to be permanent members of the roster. I think it would give the X Division a spark. It'd be nice if it had a little more of a puro style to it, like last night's match.
Consequences Creed's hair is ridiculous.
And of course, AJ Styles is a pimp. Every time he's on the screen, I somehow end up entertained. I'm glad that the Orlando crowd is fully backing him like they used to a couple years ago. Outside of the traditional "cheer the faces, boo the heels" concept that a pro wrestling crowd is supposed to subscribe to, TNA's Orlando crowd is usually still pretty selective. I'm glad AJ got the pop he deserved.
Abyss's return was alright. I find that I wasn't overly excited to see him back though. I'm not sure what I think about the white attire yet.

I agree it was one of the best of the year. Coincidently, it has seven matches!
I was impressed with the three World X-Cup guys. I liked Koslov trying to start a Russia chant To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. There was a good comedy bit in the match where Koslov stopped Curry & started dancing, then Curry did the same. If Koslov can speak English or TNA find him a mouthpiece i'd like to see him stay a while.
Doi & Yoshino where insanly good together. They made the Machine Guns look slow they were that fast & fluid.
Also Roode & Storm were fucking robbed To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. What kind of person believes a Guerrero on his word only?
I couldent help but laugh at Velvet Sky's "variation" of a figure four & Gail trying to hold it in place when she turned it over.
On Abyss' attire, i think it will change after a few months. When he started he was wearing a blue denim style top, before his recent hiatus he was wearing black leather looking material. The white is good for a change, but i dont know how long before it'll get boring.
His new intro for his music i think is great.
