Sure this could be a dreadful mistake but it could also be an advantage.I think Many tna fans have started to tune of due to way to many dark goth style gimmicks.So tna have decided to make him a credible wrestler.Seriously when you look at abyss he isnt champion material his gimmick is just a heel style vengeful wrestler.but as chris parkes this could all change.In a way though Abyss will probably lose quite a lot of fans due to the gimmick chyange but yet again i think he has lost enough since he has turned face.
I think also with abyss being unmasked will give hima wider moveset with much more variety.Plus i dont think he will be as extreme with the new gimmick cause it just wouldnt work.
What i think they should do is make him have a 3 month fued with tomko and get both them over with the fans and finish it off in lets say a ladder match for number one contender.Both men then will be respected and it will leave the gates open for both
has he actually lost his mask yet? any ways maybe he wont even take it off yet, well yeah this could be a dreadful mistake, but it could upper the ratings of TNA.
Abyss came back to Slammiversary with his mask on. So they haven't completely copied the storyline. I doubt they will ever unmask him to be honest. But they did copy the whole Kane-Undertaker feud from late 1997 to mid 1998. They copied it with the Abyss/Mesias/Mitchell stuff from early this year.
Was i the only one who marked out for him coming back? I like Steiner & Petey but i was so happy to see Abyss destroy them. I like his new entrance music also.
