Kane was far more interesting with the Mask, do you not remember how over he was back in 2001 and 2002? I agree it's down to booking, thats why he got stale in the first place and thats why demasking him turned out to be terrible. It was a quick fix to stop him from being stale (which if the creative team had been smart he would have never been in the first place) but after his initial push they had nothing for him.

Of course. I loved that Kane. But as I recall he was embroiled in a feud with Triple H that had begun with the infamous Katie Vick storyline at the time of the unmasking. They could've really run with the "Mentally Unstable" angle instead he ended up in another horrendous angle with Matt Hardy and Lita.

Either way I think the unmasking was needed as there wasn't much left to do with the masked Kane.

Was i the only one who marked out for him coming back? I like Steiner & Petey but i was so happy to see Abyss destroy them. I like his new entrance music also.
