Kaz now has an X-Division title match for Slammiversary (Slammiversary: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. From Deuces Wild Tag Tournament to X-Division gimmick match to World title match to X-Division title match. In a month!!!
I'd personally put him in an upper card feud with an established heel (Step forward Booker T or Kurt Angle), a big win in the blow off for tha feud & he can legit main event PPV's.
I like the way over the past few months TNA are trying different guys in the main event (Kaz, Eric Young, Robert Roode, James Storm, Tomko etc etc) but they need more than one or two matches before trying someone else. Looking at the TNA roster Kaz is by far & away the best candidate for a new face main eventer, give him more than one match & see if he can run with it. AJ got to the main event originally because TNA took a chance on him. He paid off big time & can now be called upon any time needed. Kaz can do the same if he is given the chance.
Agree or disagree?

Well, I disagree because they haven't developed his character at all since he's come back.. He's way too generic in both his choice for attire and his personality. I would have loved to see him turn heel on Super Eric, but that never happened. He needs something because right now there's no reason to care about him outside of some sweet moves he does in the ring..
His caracter actually has developed, its just been so smooth it wasent noticed. He used to be a cocky guy who was just there now he's a RVD type caracter. Too cool for school. Plus, He's a great wrestler, has improved immesnsley since his previous run. He gets great crowd reactions without having to do much, their is just something about him that makes you want him to win or give a good showing at the least.
His appearances on TNA Today have been great. At first he seemed awkward but after a few he grew in the role & is much more natural & fluid with his talking as seen with his recent promo's. This time last year he would have been all over the place with them.
Unless he is going to be pushed hard & with momentoium i dont think he should turn heel as it would fizzle out & he would be just another mid card heel. If he was to get that push & go heel it would work in his favour as he is more capable in the ring than the other top heels bar Kurt Angle & maybe Roode. Their is a lot more competition on the face side so he couldget overlooked so i'll agree on the heel aspect.

I see next to nothing in him to be quite honest. It could be poor character development, but it really seems like he just lacks overall charisma.
He is one of the few people in TNA that doesnt interest me AT ALL. I tend to lurk WC when his matches are on.
James Storm should be main eventing before him.

I have to agre with him being great in the ring. But I do have to disagree with him as a legit main eventer right now. He needs some more character development before getting a push like that. If anyone is ready to make that jump in TNA right now I would say Robert Roode, followed by James Storm.

He shouldn't be main eventing at this time, because the main-event scene in TNA is absolutely cluster-fucked with bigger names, and guys who have had much more character development than he has.
In two years, I could see him as one of the top guys in TNA. However, now is just too soon. A lot of things could happen in two years to benefit Kaz.
First Year: Give him two lengthy X-Division Championship reigns. That would help get his name noticed in the eyes of the viewers, so he wouldn't be seen as just another TNA guy. During those two reigns, have him feud with established X-Division wrestlers such as Petey Williams, Jay Lethal, & Johnny Devine. He could go over Devine in a short feud, then have Lethal defeat Kaz for the X-Division Championship in a fluke. Then Kaz could say Lethal caught him off guard or something. Have Kaz win the X-Division Championship back on PPV, but have him cheat to defeat Lethal, thus turning him heel. When Petey Williams returns, he could go straight after the X-Division Championship as a face. They could have a drawn out feud, eventually with Petey defeating Kaz, and Kaz moving out of the X-Division Championship scene.
Second Year - First Six Months: Move him out of the X-Division, but not into the main-event. Give him middle-card feuds with wrestlers like James Storm and Rhino. Let him have a good showing against Rhino in the first feud, and have him go over James Storm in the second.
Second Year - Second Six Months: Still keep him out of the X-Division, but now keep him out of the middle card. Move him to the upper-middle-card and feud with wrestlers such as Scott Steiner, Booker T, and Robert Roode. Have him go over Steiner in the first feud, then have him go over Roode in the second. Don't have him go over Booker T, but let him have a strong showing.
Then you have an established wrestler with a significant amount of character development that has consistently been in some type of feud for the past two years. He then would be a credible main-eventer, and hopefully the full package.
Kaz definitely has potential. the triple threat at sacrifice showed that he can handle a main event spot on a card...however that jacket he wears to the ring makes him look like he's in for a cameo in Bill and Ted. at this point in time, he makes a good underdog maineventer (much like how rey mysterio was supposed to be during his title run)
If his match with Kurt Angle last year was any indication, Kaz is ready for the big time. He may be their 2nd best overall performer. He puts on some very memorable matches, he is not bad on the stick even though his mic time is very low, and he is very multi-faceted. Like you said, Tag Team, X Division, World Title Match, X Division, and it was more like all in 2 weeks. He is incredibly versatile. Paul Heyman has been talking about TNA needs a guy to brand? Kaz would be perferct.
