Heyman has always been ahead of his time in understanding what will appeal to the mainstream wrestling fans. One of the better storytellers and writers there's ever been. He's great in a manager role or even an announcer.. Honestly, there's nothing the guy can't do. Yeah, he'd help them a lot lol..
I think that Heyman could benefit TNA a little bit. He would be good as a manager bringing together his own team of wrestlers. But I wouldn't want to see him as a writer, I think TNA is really good right now with their storylines.
Long Answer: No because he hasent been able to regain his creative spark since ECW died. ECW drained him almost completly. He was booker for Smackdown for a short time but it was no-where near what he could have done five-ten years earlier. Another five years on & he would be even worse since he hasent done anything in that time.
After a few months he would be out of the new ideas & either start re-hashing ECW storylines or just throw anything out there & hope it catches on.
I've said it countless times before, TNA doesnt need Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff or anyone else. TNA already has the best man for the job but he is, by his own choosing, in an advisor role. Yes, i am talking about Jim Cornette.

I personally think he would work wonders in TNA. Totally outbook Russo and turn TNA around in my opinion. I mean for how many years was he named Booker of the Year ? For like five or six years in a row he was named Booker of the Year. Heyman has awesome mic skills, I'm a HUGE fan of Paul Heyman, he has the perfect mind for the business and has so much knowledge. I mean he's a great manager, great on the mic, great booker and great commentator. He could totally help TNA in my opinion even though a few months again he said he has no interest in ever going to TNA. Would be interesting nonetheless.
I am not sure you know this, but in the early ninties Jim Cornette ran his own promotion SMW and it had some success on a small budget. Your saying that Heyman might of lost his skills since 2000 but Cornette hasn't booked since 1995. Could that mean that Cornette has more rust than Heyman?
I believe that Heyman would be good for TNA because Vince Russo has been booking horribly as of late with Mantell and you need someone to come up with fresh & good ideas and I think Heyman is the man.
