I have heard and said this plenty of times before, but i can not stress this enough that tna really need a mid-card title, they have pleanty of awesome tallent on the roster and as soon as they get their 2 hour time slot i think that they should get this title straight away as I really feel it is needed
They need some kind of new title. You can't have a roster of about 30-40 guys with only 4 champions in the whole business. But with the way they ahve the titles now, they all have a whole lot of prestigue.
I love TNA and I don't think this is a bad idea, but right now they don't. They have so much talent I know this, but they don't have so many superstars. I say when they get some more bring in like a mid-card title, but they havce mainly X-Divsion and main event stars. They don't have enough mid carders to bring one in yet. I say wait a month or 2 if not longer and bring it in. Then again they could always use X stars for it, in a ways it is a great idea and it had some downsides.

I agree with everything Q_Man said. Right now. The titles holders hold a certain ammount of respect. Which is more than you can say for people who win the IC and U.S. In WWE now. They should keep the title situation for awhile. Then bring out a mid-card championship. Once they accuire a little bit more superstars to make runs for it. But what I'm mainly liking out of TNA theses day. Is their tag-division. They just have so many great teams and IMO have a way better tag-divison than WWE currently does.

I don't think that it's so much that they don't have the mid-card staus wreslters on roster. I think that they do in fact have enough. ESPECIALLY if they give the title more prestige as in a step under the #1 contender, kind of like WCW did back in the early to mid 90's. I think it more or less they don't have the time available right now to showcase the talent needed for a succesful "mid-card title" But I think once they do get a bigger time slot that is will be essential that they make a belt that can be used and defending on Impact rather than making all of their belts exclusive to PPV. I think this was one reason why Nitro used to be sooo succesful is that you could see a major title change hands on regular TV and that kept you glued to the TV rather than to just touch base week to week then buy the PPV for the real show. This would be the US and even from time to time the WHC that would change hands on regular cable... This equals explosive ratings...and an overall succesful show and comapny.

i was on board with the idea of x tag titles because that division is cramped and it gives them something else to gun for...but the main titles i want to see be introduced (when the time is right, and only when the time is right) is a version of ROH pure title

I see your point regarding X-D. tag titles. I just feel that it would take away some of the prestige that the NWA Tag titles hold. As for a version of the pure title I'm all for it.
