How to fix the X-Division

I dont see whats wrong with it to be honest. Yes it could have more TV time but as far as talent goes, it has some great talent. I think we got spoilt during the Joe/Styles/Daniels feud as they are all main event quality so thats what we came to expect. When someone cant put on a match as good as Unbreakable three way then everyone assumes there is something wrong.

The X-Division is still active & is still recieveing attention. The only thing i would do is introdeuce a couple of new faces to freshen it up a little.

I think the problem with the X Division, and there is one. Is the fact that the champion, Petey Williams probably one of 5 legit wrestlers in the Division, after Petey beats Kaz, Lethal and MCMG. I know people love Curryman, and Shark boy but come on, there comedic relief and can never seriously hold a belt without degrading its value, sadly. Lethal pulled off one of the few comedic relief title reigns that i've enjoyed but its a lot harder to do when your as restricted as Curryman and Shark boy are.

TNA is on the right track by connecting Petey with a established Main eventer, boosting his face time in backstage events and other story lines because of it. It would be nice if they would boost face time of the whole division, but Petey is a start.

yeah, i just think the X Division needs a bit more TV time, they always talk about how great it is but, they don't really show it, hopefully terror dome is amazing

Curry Man is one of the few comedic gimmicks that could work as champ. Look at how over he is and the comedy doesn't take anything away from what he is doing in the ring.

If anything is wrong with the X Division is for some reason has a knock on them not being "legitimate" An easy fix to this would be taking some of the heavyweight upper mid carder - Main Eventers (Kaz vs Angle gave Kaz crazy ligitmacy) and have them work with some of the X Division guys. Maybe even expand the feud that 3d had across a wider range of the roster, but let the X Division have a chip on their shoulder and have something to prove. Basically show that anyone in the X Division COULD beat any heavyweight at any given time.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the x-division really.. my gripe was that Petey used his briefcase too early. I wanted to see the Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt feud take off first..

TNA gave us more X-Division a couple of weeks ago & it resulted in a lower rating. TNA used less of the X-Division this week & it was back up.

Kaz, Lethal & Dutt vs. Rock 'n' Rave Infection & Johnny Devine match and "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal's marriage proposal to SoCal Val following it lost 265,000 viewers.

LAX vs. Motor City Machine Guns match lost 88,000 viewers, and that was at the 10:00 hour.

With the exception of Lance Hoyt & Hernandez they were all X-Division Wrestlers.

Meanwhile, The Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong match following the marriage proposal segment stopped the bleeding and gained 25,000 viewers.

However, the biggest gain of the show was reserved for surprise, surprise, Velvet Sky & Angelina Love. "The Beautiful People" vs. ODB & Roxxi Laveaux match managed to pull in 176,000 viewers.

Nothing wrong with the X-Division, people just arent as intrested in it as the Knockouts.

I'm not going to pretend like I know the answer to this...but as much as I dig the Curryman character, there is no way that the "key demographic" of 18-34 males (or if you've read it elsewhere, 50yr+ males for TNA) can have happy time with sharkboy the same way they can with the beautiful people

No they can't have "happy time" in that way unless they have a shark fetish... but realistically the guys in that demo that are watching the Beautiful People or the women's division aren't just looking for ass like they would be in WWE. These women can go in the ring and I know speaking for myself, a part of that demo, I watch them because they can go, and not what they show.

Take away all of these crackheaded gimmicks. What the fuck are they smoking in the back to come up with this shit? I just see Disco Inferno in the back hitting a bong and saying "Dude... Guitar Hero controllers. That's what they need man, fucking Guitar Hero controllers!"
