When Kurt Angle has put in the time that Taker has to the company, then he can ask for it. When Taker was 6 years in with the WWF, I believe it was 1997. I don't think he was getting special treatment then.

When you suffer five broken necks working for someone i think that should be enough to give them a lighter workload.

Are you actually comparing Kurt Angle and his 5 years with the WWE, to the over 20 logged by Taker? There is nobody in the WWE more revered and respected than Undertaker. And that's coming from the mouths of current and ex-WWE wrestlers in shoot interviews. Taker works part-time, NOW, at the age of 44 or whatever he is. Angle wanted that schedule when his nuts were barely wet in the wrestling business.

If this earns me my 3rd strike, then so beit, but get the fuck out of here with that shit. If you insist on being a TNA mark, fine. But to do so at the expense of sanity and reasoning, well......it's with great restraint that I bite my tongue.

It's not WWE's fault he suffered five broken necks. And how many of them actually occured in the WWE? At least one I know of was in 1996.

I was in no way comparing them. I was using 'taker as an example after you said:

Quote:
wanted to be a main event player, but work part-time
'taker is one of several guys who main event but work part time, he was just the first i thought of.

As far as i know, he has had six in his life. One during the Olympics & five during his WWE stay.

Vince considered Angle as a top guy. Surely he should protect his top guys to prevent injury from fatigue. With the exception of Cena, until recently nearly every wwe main eventer has picked up a long term injury while in a big(ish) program. Angle was already injured but Vince still refused to cut down his house shows etc.

Re: Kurt Angle on why he left WWE

Having an operation on your neck doesnt mean you have broken it, also it was his choice to go ahead with his match with Brock at Wrestlemania XIX after Vince asked him not to

Re: Kurt Angle on why he left WWE

I would think that given his situation at the time, and the fact that he was not at 100%, Vince should have given him what he wanted, at least on a temporary basis. Kurt Ange is a very good wrestler, and can draw big crowds. I think it was a big mistake on McMahons part to let him go.

Re: Kurt Angle on why he left WWE

huge mistake to let him go...if TNA becomes a legit competitor, Vince is going to regret it even more

"Hart Foundation woulda done it."

Re: Kurt Angle on why he left WWE

How could Kurt Angle survive a broken neck when Hayabusa couldn't after tripping over a rope on his moonsault?
