MAIN EVENT: THE ICON STING VS. “COWBOY” JAMES STORM Sting has returned to TNA Wrestling in a major way, first joining Team Cage for the upcoming Lethal Lockdown match, then winning the huge eight-man war this past week! On Thursday night, Sting returns to the main event as he will face the superstar that smashed a beer bottle over his head in “Cowboy” James Storm! Will Storm have hell to pay at the hands of the icon – or will the Cowboy upset Sting’s return?
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS AJ STYLES & TOMKO VS. “THE INSTANT CLASSIC” CHRISTIAN CAGE AND “THE WAR MACHINE” RHINO
In a preview of the Lethal Lockdown match, it will be Christian Cage and Rhino teaming up again as they rebuild their friendship to face TNA World Tag Team Champions “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and Tomko!
Also on Thursday night’s “iMPACT!” broadcast…

Re: iMPACT! - April 3rd 2008 - Sting vs Cowboy! AJ & Tomko vs Cage & Rhino! Xscape Ma
I doubt its a big secret who i want to win the Main Event. A Win for Storm would do wonders for his status in the upper card.
If Storm wins the main event then Styles & Tomko win the tag match to keep the score even.
Brooks vs Banks i dont really care about as it has dragged on now.
I'm split on the Shark Boy vs Primetime match. On one hand Shark Boy is fun to watch as well as enjoyable, Primetime has the in ring charisma of a plank of wood. On the other hand, Primetime is miles ahead in ring action. With Curry Man already in the match i cant see Shark Boy winning.

Yeah it would do wonders for his career, but jobbing Sting to anyone without proper buildup would be a complete waste of a special moment. The kind you don't give away on free tv.

- Thie big news coming out of Thursday's broadcast is that the "Lethal Lockdown" match at the Pay-Per-View is now 5-on-5! Matt Morgan allowed Team Tomko to add "Cowboy" James Storm to their team, while Morgan tricked everyone and revealed he was the fifth member of Team Cage as "iMPACT!" went off the air! Obviously, TNA Management Director Jim Cornette can't be please with Morgan's plan!
- In the main event, "The Icon" Sting defeated "Cowboy" James Storm after Morgan helped Sting by tossing him a baseball bat (following some underhanded tactics by Storm and Jacqueline).
- Also on the broadcast, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle discussed his upcoming World Title match against Samoa Joe - but Angle was interrupted by "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, who told Angle he was cashing in on his "Fight For The Right" World Title shot and wanted the winner of Angle vs. Joe at May's Sacrifice Pay-Per-View!
- Shark Boy qualified for the X Division Xscape Match at Lockdown by beating Elix Skipper on Thursday's broadcast.
- Team 3D beat Christian Cage and Rhino by disqualification after Rhino gored the referee...leading to Jim Cornette making the call!
- Traci Brooks got revenge on Payton Banks by beating her in singles action! Prior to the bout, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky confronted Traci in a pre-match interview. Following the bout, Velvet and Angelina hit the ring - as did several more TNA Knockouts as things go out of control. However, this led to Sharmell coming out to clear house of all the females - a move Booker T obviously didn't approve of.
- In an Eigh-man tag team match The L.A.X. & The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Rock 'n' Rave Infection & RelliK & Black Reign. Following the match, Kaz and then Super Eric hit the ring to take down Black Reign and Rellik!
- Also on the broadcast, Mike Tenay had an exclusive sitdown interview with TNA Women's Champ Awesome Kong and her manager Raisha Saeed, more footage of Jay Lethal and SoCal Val's date aired, plus additional vide of Samoa Joe training in California for his upcoming Lockdown World Title shot!

I admit i didnt figure out it was Matt Morgan until he threw the bat to Sting. Morgan played his part billiantly.
Not thrilled about Shark Boy being in the Xscape match at the expense of Primetime. Skipper can do much more for that type of match.
Andrew Thomas deserved the Gore for missing two tags To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
The Pre-Match Interview with RnR & Reign/RelliK i thought was hilarious. Hemme kept talking over Reign & RelliK prompting them to stop & stare at her. Put over Reign & RelliK as serious monsters while at the same time put RnR over as goofballs.
Not the best iMPACT! by any means but i still enjoyed it very much. I'll give it a C - grade this week.
