OK this one baffels me. i have heard from various wrestling sites in checking this morning that there is talk about taking Jarrett off tv for a couple of months having him return as a majoy babyface...
This to me would be uber stupid... almost as dumb as the terminology I just used... What are your thoughts on this?

i made a thread on this ages ago right after an interview when jeff said he would like to be a face again one day. i still stand by what i said. i think he has done enough for wrestling and for tna to be allowed go out whatever way he wants to. if thats a face turn then let him have it he deserves it. the only question would be over weather or not the tna fans would buy him as a face, but we did before, in fact the last time russo was in tna.

I'm just worried with how weell that he has been over as a heel that he may have passed that point of no return. I mean not everyone can cause a riot when they win the title... Plus I like him as a heel so that way he should stay.

i admit after he won the title, and practically caused a riot like you said, i didnt think he could ever go face but if he takes some time off and when he comes back he has to do something big. he was a face before and i think he did a great job, it just has to be something huge for it to work.

Maybe if they somehow turn Angle heel the right way and he is like about to beat Samoa Joe and Jarrett comes out to Joe for the save... other than that I really don't know what it would take to get him over, other than an act from God.

i was thinking of making a save also but i think they are going to try angle as a face. the problem is their arent many top class heels in tna for him to save faces from.
my solution: if they build abyss by having him take out sting and have him cheating like hell and about to beat joe, then jarretts music hits and he smashs abyss with the guitar, joe locks in the choke and wins. i think thats the best way to get jarrett over. but itd make more sense then if jarrett took out joe unfortunatly turning him hell again. a face turn of about 2 minutes.

I honestly think he is past the point of no return. No matter who the heel he is facing is, I still don't think many of the fans would buy him as a babyface. And even if they do, who's to say as soon as he stops fueding with them the fans wont start booing him again anyway.
Although being a Jarrett fan I would love to see him as a face and have the fans cheer him.

Its gonna take something astonishing to have the fans all of a sudden get behind Jarret after all the shit he's pulled as a heel.
I didn't mind Jarret as a face when the company was first starting up but now it just doesnt seem realistic to me to have jarret turn face again... its just gonna be so hard to buy when people have hated his guts soooo much for soooooo long.
But good luck to him.. he prolly knows that if he was to turn face he would have to something amazing to get over and be cheered, I for one will be interested to see if he goes through with it.. how he goes about it.

I hope he's taken off tv for awhile but I don't wanna see him as a face. He's hated by all the fans because of his continued main event status when clearly other guys could and IMO should hold that spot over him. Unless, that changes and Jarrett feuds with the devil he wil never be an over babyface.
