Personally I don't really see him than much more of a fat, out of shape athlete and he's getting pushed for it! I really don't see what the big deal about this guy. Hell, I think Umaga is better than him. Your thoughts?

He's a stiff ass, technical, atheltic big man wrestler who is decent on the mic. Waht else you want? Lame catchphrases like John Cena? Or maybe a cool manager like Estrada? Samoa Joe pWn's in every spect of a pro wrestler you could want. Only complaint might be he isn't very scientific, but meh fuck science.

Joe is much more than an overweight athlete. He is one of the best wrestlers around today IMO. He has a very broad moveset, he is very creative in the ring, he has awesome mic skills and he is probably the quickest and most agile fat guy I have ever seen.

His chain wrestling skills are phenominal and are the best since ... Dean Malenko. He is flat-out one of the best in the business and after seeing his promo last night his mic skills are some of the best out there right now as well. Umaga is a joke and the only thing entertaining about him is Estrada.

He is not overweight, it's his family genes, he eats healthy, works out, doesn't smoke/drink, he's the perfect athelete, and a better wrestler than 99% of the world...maybe 100%.

He's not in shape because the WWE has set this false standard of what a wrestler has to look like. The fact is that WWE is about show and is not about actual talent. Therefore someone who has only followed WWE will say that he is out of shape.

agreeing with Griff0rd (for admin) here. To me Joe's shape means nothing. I know plenty of huskier or even fat guys that would kick the shit out of most people, i.e Tank Abbot. Samoa Joe is on of the best wrestlers today, sasd thing is he is so stiff that he is also one of the most dangerous. I doubt the WWE would ever even try to get him based on that fact alone. Personally, thats why I would sign him

Are u kidding me? Umaga better than Joe?! What have you been smoking? Joe is the total package. He is a great wrestler whose talent would be wasted in WWE, and he has amazing mic skills which he proved to us on Impact on Thursday. Umaga is a dry gimmick that gets no crowd reaction, and has a stupid finishing move. Joe is not out of shape either. Yes, much of it IS genes. But I have never seen a guy of his size do the things he has done. Did you see the ladder challenge? That kick to Cage was incredible. Something Umaga would never do. Sorry, but Joe is the future, and TNA realizes that, and that's why they are setting him up to win the title.
