The current TNA situation.

With Russo being brought in to the writing department of TNA, and them having what looks like there best PPV in a while, I think they look on the up. There Impact ratings haven't drew quite so well and began to drop, hopefully, this clean up that management are rumoured to be doing by getting in Russo, etc. will bring the company back up and challenge WWE again, after all, WWE seems to be back on top now, but, can TNA fight back?

Thoughts?

I wouldn't call No Surrender their best ppv yet, seeing as how it's more of just a way to build to Bound For Glory. The card does look rather impressive especially for not having some big names on it but I always find TNA's problem to be with their tv taping schedule. They tape three shows at a time in a business where stuff changes by the day, so say they tape 3 weeks of something without a big name guy or they want to change their plans they are kinda screwed. Much like Monty Brown, they had already taped his Samoa Joe crap before he was talking about leaving so they couldn't reall change around the plans too much. It's just wrestling has lots of changes and having stuff taped 3 weeks before it airs isn't good. Overall I really enjoy TNA and with the right moves I see them becoming big some time soon.

TBH I never see them being on half the stage WWE are on atm, and i'm not being biased, it is just WWE could go into TNA tomorrow and go 'i'll take Joe, Styles and Daniels' and offer them a shitload of cash, and they wont say no, they have families to support, so thinking about it, I like TNA, but it is just WWE are over with money. And could Kill wrestling, but are choosing not to.

Lets just say that T.N.A were indeed in the same leuge with the WWE, Do you remember how kick ass WWE was when the whole wcw thing was going on? The writers have got lazy but if they woke up thinking" Shit I could lose my job any day if T.N.A get better ratings than us, I better step it up". If they thought like that everyday there is no way in hell that T.N.A could win or even challenge WWE in that matter. But Dave is right about the money factor, WWE could just buy off all the stars in T.N.A, but as dave said they choose not to. This War is an Up Hill Battle for T.N.A, WWE could shater there dreams in a second, it just takes one phone call to Joe to do it, And Vince knows that, so if T.N.A even start to get big Vunce would do either 2 things 1 thing is just stepping up the writers, or if that still isnt winning anything just make a simple phone call or call(s) to some T.N.A guys. And if joe says no to WWE, WWE can just ask more of the wretlers on tna and there is a strong possiblity that one or the rest would say yes. So with this said Cornet cant obviosuly pay the amount of mony Vince could pay, so he would be kinda screwed there. Because as we know it money runs the world. Just my thoughts on the subject.

1. Cornette doesnt own it
2. I doubt Joe,Daniels, and AJ would go to WWE. They've all had the chance, and they've turned it down

I think you said it BDB, but I don't think you said it like you were meaning... Check it. THey are getting paid well enough doing what they are now, or they wouldn't do it. But they do have families... Now if they went to WWE they would be on the road how much? They would see their famalies how much? I think that the reason a lot of stars in TNA will be staying with TNA is because of the fact they are getting pais well enough, and they are available to spend time with their family...

Joe, Daniels and Styles (along with others) have been offered contracts before, and have all turned them down (except guys like Jeff Hardy, Kazarian etc). Money is not everything, why else would Kurt Angle and Christian Cage have come to TNA? As Griff said, family time. You work one monday every three weeks add in house shows and PPVs they work about a week/two weeks a month. in WWE you work 20-25 of the 30 days. Someone said in an interview, in WWE your on the road 300 days a year, leaving very little time to be with your loved ones.

This started about Vince Russo so im going to go back to that. Right now im not to happy about him coming. A lot of people say he is great, hes the best etc etc. Ask yourself how great did he do with WCW? He killed it thats what. He was in TNA before, i liked the story line with S.E.X. but other than that he pretty much crippled TNA. He made many bad decisions and generaly made TNA go backwards. Eric Bischoff would have been much better, i think TNA should have held off and got him instead. TNA dont need Russo, Especially so soon after getting Cornette. In fact Cornette even got a new contract stating that he didnt have to be in the same room as Russo!

TNA have wasted money here on Russo, money that could have went towards offering Jericho a contract seeing as TNA are priemiering Fozzys New video on iMPACT! i dont think it would be that outragous to see Jericho even on a short-term contract, like Sting. If the short work schedual (leaving plenty of time for Family and Fozzy) wont do it im sure Christian Cage could put in a good word or two.

I agree with Dave to an extent. But I think guys like Daniels and Styles would not go to WWE becuase they would rather spend time with their families and because they are both quite religious, and the WWE is not really good when it comes to ethics.
Also with guys like Joe, I think he has so much respect for the wrestling industry that he would choose to stay with TNA and benefit the industry over the money.
