It will be a huge “iMPACT!” this Thursday at 9pm on SpikeTV – two hours of Total Nonstop Action, the final countdown to the “Destination X” Pay-Per-View, plus THREE big main event bouts on one night!
TNA Management Director Jim Cornette has announced three blockbuster matches scheduled this Thursday just days before the Pay-Per- View:
- In the main event of the broadcast, it will be TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle battling “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage in the confines of the Six Sides Of Steel match!
- In the second bout, it will be a “First Blood” match with “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe taking on Tomko! The first superstar to bleed in the bout will lose the match!
- In the third bout, it will be a Street Fight with “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash taking on “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles!
How will these bouts affect the upcoming “Destination X” Pay-Per-View? What happens if someone gets injured? Can both sides escape “iMPACT!” intact – or will the momentum swing in one team’s favor heading into the Pay-Per-View? Tune in and find out!
- In addition, the broadcast will feature the debut of TNA "Rough Cut"...a look at the lives of the TNA superstars outside of the spotlight!
- Prior to his Elevation X Pay-Per-View bout against James Storm, “The War Machine” Rhino will take on the barbaric Judas Mesias this Thursday night in their first-ever bout!
- Plus, TNA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong will battle Salinas of The Latin American Xchange!
- Also, there will be a special “Destination X Battle Royal” where the winner will get to name their stipulations for the upcoming Pay-Per-View. Competing in the bout will be: The Motor City Machineguns, Team 3D, Black Machismo, Curry Man and Shark Boy, Black Reign and Rellik, The Rock N’ Rave Infection, “Cowboy” James Storm, The Latin American Xchange and Petey Williams!
Finally, tune into “iMPACT!” this Thursday night at 9pm on SpikeTV for news and updates on the Destination X Pay-Per-View, including new matches to be announced by TNA Management Director Jim Cornette!

- The broadcast featured all the superstars involved in Sunday's main event in singles action. In the first bout, Kevin Nash defeated AJ Styles in a Street Fight after Nash got the win with a chokeslam. AJ was obviously preoccupied with his thoughts on Karen Angle, who was absent from the broadcast. In the second bout, Tomko beat Samoa Joe in a controversial First Blood match, as Tomko was able to open a small cut on Joe's arm with a chairshot. In the final bout of the evening, it was a photo finish in the Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage Six Sides Of Steel match as Cage escaped the structure and apparently landed just before Angle did. Following the bout, Tomko and AJ Styles locked Christian inside the cage and brutalized him before Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash were able to get inside to help as iMPACT went off the air!
- TNA Management Director Jim Cornette announced that this Sunday, Booker T will face Robert Roode in a "Stand By Your Man" leather strap match. If Booker wins, Traci Brooks will be able to strap Payton Banks. If Roode wins, Banks will get the same opportunity to lash Brooks!
- By winning a Battle Royal, Curry Man and Shark Boy were able to make their own stipulation for Sunday's Pay-Per-View. They will face Team 3D in a "Fish Market Street Fight".
- In singles action prior to the Elevation X bout this Sunday, "The War Machine" Rhino defeated Judas Mesias.
- In addition, TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong defeated Salinas of The Latin American Xchange
- New matches were also made for Sunday's Pay-Per-View, as it will be Eric Young and Kaz vs. Black Reign and Rellik, plus in a three-way bout it will be The Latin American Xchange vs. The Motor City Machineguns vs. The Rock N' Rave Infection to determine the #1 contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Title.
