Sabu was at the iMPACT! tapings probably trying to get a job. TNA showed no intrest. They even went as far as to reject a meeting with him. The feeling now is that Sabu isn't good enough in the ring to take a spot from a younger star.
Fuck him, he had his chance but bailed (In the middle of fuckin storyline) as soon as WWE came calling.

Plus, from what I understand, he was working without a regular contract at the end with TNA last time. I'd go for a full fledged contract over a day-by-day contract any day of the week as well.
Sabu is great, but motherfucker misses so many spots. Although I find it kind of funny. When he's on once in awhile it's incredible. But mostly he's fucked up lately, and is never on.
Long years of drugs, being on the road, and killing his body has added up.
WWE should have kept him though, even if he's a fuck up who cares dude sold tickets, and merchandise.
