Sting's TNA contract expires in the next few weeks and at this point no new deal has been signed. Some saw Sting doing the job at Genesis as a sign that he is on his way out, but this is not the case. Sting probably will stay in TNA through 2008, but that may well be his final year in wrestling.
Like Scott Hall, Sting has been very easy to deal with behind the scenes and is not afraid to put anybody over. Sting wants to give back and has actually suggested to agents that he use his star power to put over some of the younger talent.

If he puts the younger guys over (& by younger i mean in their 20's as most of the roster is younger) then i would want him to stay. This is the same as Jeff Jarrett said when he came back during the summer. He wants to give back to the industry.

I'd disagree that his time is up. His time at the top is but i think he could go for another year or two. If he sticks around he could make James Storm & Robert Roode main event heels. They just need the big feud to get them there. Roode nearly got it during the summer but lost it because of the Jeff Jarrett situation.
I'd give him another year, have him feud with Storm & Roode for the better part but with the occasional short feud in between to keep it going, then give him a big send off.
