This Thursday night on “iMPACT!”, it will be huge main event as one TNA star will emerge as Kurt Angle’s partner at the “No Surrender” Pay-Per-View to defend the TNA World Tag Team Title against Team Pacman!
This Thursday night, it will be Sting vs. Christian Cage vs. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles in a four-way bout, with the winner joining Kurt Angle as his championship partner on Sunday, September 9.
Also on Thursday night, Adam “Pacman” Jones and Ron “The Truth” Killings will be in attendance on the program as they gear up for Team Pacman’s title shot at No Surrender. Certainly, Team Pacman will take great interest in the four-way main event.
In addition, expect more matches to be announced on “iMPACT!” for the September 9 “No Surrender” epic event – featuring Kurt Angle defending three championships in one night!

By winning the main event on Thursday’s “iMPACT!”, Sting is now co-holder of the TNA World Tag Team Championship! Despite interference by Tomko, Sting was able to beat AJ Styles in the four-way bout that also featured Christian Cage and Samoa Joe. During the bout, Cage and Joe brawled out of the arena, leaving Sting to battle AJ Styles. Sting eventually forced “The Phenomenal One” to tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock. Following the bout, Kurt and Karen Angle entered the ring. Kurt kept his distance from Sting while Karen presented the icon a peace offering with his half of the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Sting was wary of the Angles, but joined along as Karen raised their hands in victory. However, the celebration was short-lived after the Angles left as Pacman Jones and Ron “The Truth” Kilings hit the ring and attacked Sting and spray-painted “Pac” on him. Kurt Angle eventually returned from the back to chase Team Pacman off.
- TNAwrestling.com has learned that next Thursday night on “iMPACT!”, Sting and Kurt Angle will team up for the first time as TNA World Tag Team Champions to take on Abyss and “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal!
- Also on Thursday’s broadcast, Team 3D was scheduled to face The Motor City Machineguns, but Scott Steiner hit the ring before the match to confront Brother Ray and Brother Devon after they injured his brother Rick last week! Steiner brawled with Team 3D, but was on the losing end of the battle as they hit him with their 3D finisher, then took a steel chair to his throat in an attempt to re-injure him! After security tried to break it up, 3D continued the assault and brought Steiner back to the ring and put him through a table! As a result of the attack, Steiner was taken via ambulance to a local Orlando hospital.
- Following the attack, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley returned to the ring and threw out an open challenge that was answered by The Voodoo Kin Mafia. VKM beat the Machineguns, then they issued an open challenge of their own! Out came The Latin American Xchange, Triple X and Eric Young and Shark Boy and all the tag teams ended up brawling in the ring!
