The Tennessee Titans have obtained a restraining order against Adam "Pacman" Jones, preventing him from participating in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's event on Sunday.
STATEMENT FROM THE TENNESSEE TITANS
Regarding Adam Jones
"In June we stated that we didn't expect to comment on Adam Jones until his suspension was complete. Regrettably, we feel it necessary to explain our action today.
"Today we filed a motion in Williamson County asking for a court order preventing Jones from participating in any wrestling activity. All NFL players have language in their contracts that prohibit them from engaging in activities 'which may involve a significant risk of personal injury.' We certainly believe wrestling to be hazardous and it is obvious from the player's conduct that he is ignoring this aspect of his agreements with the club. As an organization, we feel it is our obligation to protect our rights in this instance."

The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to meet with Jeff Jarrett tonight regarding the terms of some form of a compromise involving Adam "Pacman" Jones.
As of right now, the Titans are completely against Jones wrestling for TNA and it appears it will be very hard to get them to budge on that issue or anything else physical.
ESPN reported at the beginning of "SportsCenter" tonight that Jones is still planning on appearing at TNA's Hard Justice PPV on Sunday despite the restraining order against him.

ESPN.com reported early Saturday morning that the Tennessee Titans and Adam "Pacman" Jones had reached an agreement to modify a temporary restraining order that prohibited Pacman working for TNA in any capacity.
Under the deal, Jones "would agree to avoid physical contact of any kind," reports ESPN. While the agreement allows Jones to have an out of ring involvement with TNA, it doesn't allow him to engage in anything that places him at risk for injury or personal harm.
TNA still says as of Friday that Pacman will be at the Hard Justice PPV on Sunday.

FRANKLIN — Suspended Titans cornerback Pacman Jones will be able to take part in Sunday night’s Total Nonstop Action Wrestling event, but not as a wrestler.
A Williamson County judge this morning approved modifications to a restraining order the Titans obtained on Friday to keep Jones out of the ring.
The modifications allow Jones to participate in TNA events, but restrict him from being involved in any physical activity.
“Our concern was always protecting our legitimate interest under the contract, and that is avoiding any risk of significant injury to him,” said Steve Underwood, chief operating officer for the Titans.
“As long as that interest is protected, we are comfortable with whatever his level of participation is. … Our rights have been protected with the injunction.”
Lawyers for the Titans, TNA and Jones were in court here on Saturday, one day after the team obtained the restraining order. The three parties then worked late into Friday night to hammer out modifications and presented them to the judge this morning.
Jones is scheduled to participate in Sunday night’s “Hard Justice” in Orlando, Fla., which will be televised on pay-per-view.
Jones, who is not being paid by the Titans while serving a yearlong NFL suspension for an accumulation of off-field problems, signed a contract with TNA earlier this week.
