TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:
TEAM 3D vs. THE LATIN AMERICAN XCHANGE vs. AJ STYLES & CHRISTOPHER DANIELS
Can Team 3D survive their title defense this Thursday night to advance to the “Match of Champions” against Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe? TNA Management Director Jim Cornette has announced that Brother Ray and Brother Devon will defend against two of the former World Tag Team Champions in The Latin American Xchange as well as “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles & “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels!
KURT ANGLE CELEBRATES…KURT ANGLE APPRECIATION NIGHT?!
Fresh off his defense of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship last week and his win over Brock Lesnar for Japan’s IWGP Championship this past weekend, Kurt Angle returns to “iMPACT!” this Thursday night with two world titles around his waist! TNAwrestling.com has also learned that the Olympic gold medalist has demanded time on the show to present...(and this comes from Angle himself)….“Kurt Angle Celebrates Kurt Angle Appreciation Night!”. According to Angle, he plans to not only commemorate his recent string of victories with a night of appreciation, but he also asks that the fans join him in celebrating his career as wrestling’s greatest athlete!
STING PROMISES A “HUGE SURPRISE” ON THE BROADCAST In addition, TNAwrestling.com has learned that the icon Sting promises a huge surprise this Thursday night on “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV! aj and chris daniels to win, then it will be joe and angle vs aj and daniels, will be match of year, aslong as no fucking ref bumps!

iMPACT! opens with the TNA Tag Team Title match between AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels vs. LAX vs. Team 3D. The match began with both contenders double teaming the champions, and using the numbers game to their advantage for most of the match. Team 3D was finally able to get the upper hand and then give Homicide the flying headbutt to the groin, followed by a Doomsday Device on Daniels, but only for a 2 count. Daniels recovered and he and AJ gave a frogsplash and a Best Moonsault Ever to Homicide, but still only for a 2 count. The end of the match saw Daniels going for the Angel’s Wings on Devon, but Devon was able to reverse and hit a 3D for the win. Team 3D now qualifies for the Match of Champions at the PPV.
Jeremy Borash is in the back talking about TNA Mobile when he hears some strange noises. It was coming from Lance Hoyt and Christy Hemme. Hoyt had a few choice words for VKM – “You thought you were teaching me something? Well, I’ve been under the covers with Christy the whole time. She’s the teacher and I’m the student. I’ve got everything – The future, the fiery redhead, and the set to do it all. VKM…Live with it!
Samoa Joe then takes the mic from JB and focuses his attention to the camera. “Team 3D, you became the two latest victims in my struggle. Kurt, last week I pimp slapped you to show that I pull the strings and you are my puppet. At Victory Road, you’re going to help me win the Tag Titles. I need you to be healthy so you can help me – help me destroy you. I am Samoa Joe…I am the X Division Champion…and Kurt, I will break you.
Jim Cornette then comes to the announce table to talk about the matches at Victory Road, but Christian Cage enters the arena and interrupts. Cage goes on to say “Chris Harris will be a superstar after Victory Road, just for breathing the same air as me. And after I beat him, you’re going to put me back in the main event Cornette!” Cornette takes the mic and tells Cage that Abyss is looking for him. Cage says “I’d pimp slap him if he was right here, but he’s not.” Abyss’ music hits, and Cage starts running up the ramp.
Earlier in the day, Mike Tenay was able to sit down with Rhino and ask him a few questions about his outburst a couple weeks ago. Rhino says that the reason he acted like that after Storm dumped the beer on him was because of his past history with alcohol. “When I was coming up in the business, I turned to alcohol and it ruined my marriage. It was an addiction Mike. Storm opened up a wound and he has to be responsible for his actions.
The main even match of the night is next, as Ms. Brooks, Jackie Moore, and Gail Kim square off in a triple threat match. Moore and Brooks start things off double teaming Kim. The two start to argue and teamwork is short-lived. As the two battle on the floor, Gail Kim jumps from the top rope and hits a huge crossbody. The three finally end up back into the ring and Kim gives Brooks a huge top rope hurricanrana. Jackie Moore then tries to roll up Gail, but she is able to reverse it into a pin of her own and gets the win. After Gail wins, Jackie and Brooks attack until Eric Young comes out to stop them. The girls then attack him until Robert Roode comes and hits Showtime from behind.
Jeremy Borash is with Sting, who is taking JB to the bottom of the building to find out what is going on between Sting and Abyss. Sting says “Chris has something to say next week.” JB questions Sting’s statement and turns to see Abyss without his mask, but with Sting makeup instead, screaming at the camera.
The Kurt Angle Appreciation is next and Angle enters the ring with both the TNA Title and his newly won IWGP Title. Angle says he put TNA on the map and that buyrates and ratings are up ever since he’s been on the roster. “After Victory Road, Team 3D will have the opportunity to tell their children that they were in the same ring with me.” Team 3D comes out and mocks Angle with Brother Ray saying “TNA is successful because of the whole lockerroom and the fans. Not just you.” Kurt Angle rebutles “Know what? You suck!” Ray responds “If I suck, then you blow.” Angle tries to punch Ray, but it’s blocked and Team 3D attack Angle. Devon goes to get a table, but Samoa Joe comes out and fends off Team 3D. Yet, Angle gets up and gives Joe an Olympic Slam through the table to end the broadcast.

I was bored this evening, so I thought I'd download this edition and watch. The opening match was really good. Fast pace all the way through. Good stuff. I would have liked to have seen Daniels and Styles win it, but D-Von and Brother Ray will put up a good performance without a doubt. Having only read about the build up and watched last nights match I’m already looking forward to the match of champions.
I'm not sure why Team 3D won. Surley Styles & Daniels would have made it a five star match. The only reason against them i can think of is they dont want to give either the World title or back to the X-Division.
But for Team 3D i wouldent want either of them as singles champions. As a tag team they are good at what they do, brawl. Otherwise i don see the point of them being in the main event. Hopefully it'll be cleared up on iMPACT! next week. Which could be the idea. Get people to want to watch next week, but sacrifice the ppv quality?
