I just got back from the TNA House Show in Hampton Beach, NH. It was a very good time, and I got to get AJ Styles and Chris Daniels autographs, aswell as have half a beer with Chase Stevens. Anyway, here's a quick recap of the show...

Eric Young & Black Machismo defeated Bobby Roode & Kaz
Pretty fun match here, the crowd was into it throughout.They did some comedy bits and Kaz and Lethal did some X-style spots too. Finish came with the double DVD by Young on Roode and Miss Brooks followed by
a top rope "elbow" by Lethal.

Gail Kim defeated Miss Jackie Moore in a special knock outs match
Pretty fun stuff, both ladies tried hard and you could tell. Kim even took a few bumps against the guardrail. Missile dropkick ended it, and I got to touch Gail twice...her skin is so soft, lol.

Brother Runt defeated Lance Hoyt in a David -vs- Goliath showdown
Crowd kinda crapped on this match. It was ok, but alot of stalling. Nice "You have a tramp stamp" chant at Hoyt, which got him riled up. Runt won with the Acid Drop.

L.A.X. defeated The Naturals & Havok/Martyr
LAX was BIG TIME over. And they played the faces throughout the whole match. Homicide was your face in peril for most of the match, then Hernandes got in and cleaned house. He's soo impressive live! Hernandes hoisted one of the Serotonan guys on his shoulder and Homocide hit a top rope Cutter for the win.

Team 3D defeated AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels to retain the TNA Tag Titles.
Very fun match, AJ bumped all over the place. Styles and Daniels cut a promo before the match to tell people not to cheer for them, but we did anyway. Team 3D got a good pop too though. AJ ate a 3D for the finish.

**** Intermission time. I got a beer and talked to Chase Stevens for like 4-5 minutes. Then went and got AJ and Chris's autographs before grabbin a quick smoke. *****

Chris Harris defeated James Storm
Very solid match here. Crowd was into both guys, though Storm's antics eventually got him a good amount of heel heat. A cool spot was Harris dragging Storm around the arena and letting different fans deliver a chop to Storm's chest. One moment worth noting is a rather chubby girl took a swing/slap at Storm, and got him in the eye...Storm then shoved her on her ass. On a cool personal note, Storm spent the beginning mouthing off to or ignoring fans, except for ME! He walked
right by me and I yelled "Hey Storm, kick his ass brother", his response was great, "I'm gonna try to man, but these house shows don't usually work out in my favor". Thought that was great.

Rhino defeated Tomko
Tomko has impressed me of late, this wasn't a classic by any means. but a solid brawl that saw Rhino get his ass kicked for a lot of it, then hit a Gore out of nowhere for the win.

Kurt Angle defeated Christian Cage to retain the TNA World Title
A very fun little match, there where dueling "let's go Angle" and "let's go Christian" chants throughout. They did a very nice near fall spot, with Angle JUST kicking out of the Unprettier. Angle locked in the Ankle Lock like 3 minutes later for the win.


All in all a very solid and entertaining show. I was second row, and you where like right next to the wrestlers. It's a pretty small place, so the show seemed to have a personal feel to it. My step father is a big TNA fan and he came too, and he and Storm got into like a two minute argument before his match, it was a really fun time. My friend had never been to a wrestling event, and she had a ball. Hope they come back soon.

As for top reactions. For face pops, I'd have to say Angle, LAX, Machismo, Rhyno and Christian. For heel reactions, I'd have to say Roode by far, then Hoyt (though the crowd guininly didn't seem to like him), Tomko, Miss brooks (HUGE "she has herpes" chant) and Christian. Cage is genius, and makes the list twice. Styles and Daniels I left off cause they where really in the middle. They got a lot of heel and face reaction.

A great show overall, the only disappointment...No JOE!
