TNA next year ,

What do you guys see of TNA next year , i see a 2 hour show , i see TNA only brand titles witht the split of the NWA coming up , i see soem changes to the roster , theres rumors that Sting might retire soon , i would not like that because i liek Sting , Rumors goign around about WWE wrestlers coming to TNA , the gusy like RVD and Rey have come up , i really see RVD going to TNA hes contract is up in the summer and hes sick of the road , so TNA would be perfect for him , Rey on the other ahnd is hurt and the road really takes it out of him , TNA would be a right choice for him especially with Konnan and Hectr Guerreo there , this would be a reason to join , Tna would need to offer big contracts , other WWE guys linked are Paul Heymen , whos being paid to not join TNA < i dont like Cornette , other wrestlers like Sabu , Sandman, might not stay in the new WWECW , And TNA looks to be getting a few free agents the likes of the bashem brothers , the briscoe brothers , Chris Jericho , Goldberg and Brock Lesnar have all been linked with a move to TNA some more taht others , but it will be up the contracts ,

what u guys see next year for TNA ,

Re: TNA next year ,

I think if they go for any big names it should RVD & Sabu. The other guys you mentioned like Goldberg, Sandman, Brock Lesnar I dont think they'd work

Sandman - just too old, his gimmick is okay, but it isnt worth signing him.

Goldberg - guy will demand too much money.

Brock Lesnar - seems to be all over the place. I wouldnt take the chance.

Re: TNA next year ,

The two hour timeslot i think is all but confirmed. Spike TV are happy enough with the ratings but dont want to disrupt the programmes around iMPACT! I think iMPACT! will move to either Tuesday or Wednesday nite. Friday and Monday are a no due to Smackdown and RAW and Saturday is usually a bad nite for wrestling.

Sabu had his shot. He was in the middle of a storyline when wwe called so he ran to wwe. If i was TNA i wouldent even consider him.

Sandman i agree with Necro on.

Goldberg, like Necro said would want more money than he's worth. Add the fact that he would demand another winning streak and lets not even talk about the guys ego.

Lesnar would be great to have but he doesnt seem 100% commited to wrestling as wwe found out. He would also want a lot more money than TNA should give.

Rob Van Dam, i would love to see and personally i think we will see him in TNA by late 2007.

Rey Mysterio i think wants to stay in the wwe because of Konnan. He seen what happened and doesnt want to take the chance so he wants to build up a good bit of money for after retirement. Maybe he will compete in TNA but i dont see it happening.

The Basham Brothers, pretty much a part of TNA now, its just a matter of time before they debute.

The Brisco Brothers. I dont know enough about them to comment but from what i heard they are a good team.

I agree about RVD. I don't see him coming to TNA at all the way things seem to be going now.

Re: TNA next year ,

Here is the thing about RVD. The more I think about it the more I wonder about how well he would do in TNA. He is much like Jeff Hardy. Big on doing spots, but someone would have to carry himto those spots. He really can't wrestle and TNA (especially the x Divison) Requires more in-ring skills to get over then WWE. I don't see him fitting so well.

Re: TNA next year ,

I think if they keep up the way there going now, TNA really won't be around by the end of 08. The booking in TNA right now is horrible even with really great in ring matches with the likes of Sabin Vs Lynn they couldn't manage to get a decent story line for it? Come on Russo, you can do better then that.

Don't get me started on the X Divsion or some of the main event story lines, but truly I don't see TNA going past next year unless they really shape up booking wise. I'm still a TNA fan its just my opinion, Its getting to be just as bad if not worse then the WWE circa 2003/04 during the Katie Vick Storyline.

However if they do stick around, I would like to see another Joe Vs AJ fued for the title by this time next year.

Re: TNA next year ,

I think Chris Jericho would be a superb signing but he will probably head back to WWE.

I think TNA will go from strength to strength this year. They have some good people there now and they just need to work on their storylines a bit more.

All positive though
