In 2006 TNA took big steps forward. Breaking the 1.0 mark then getting a primetime slot being the highlights. What was your favourite on-air part of 2006?
Since your only allowed ten for a poll i had to leave out a lot. If its none of the listed say what your choice is.

The Kurt Angle announcement, which is possibly the biggest story in wrestling this year in general.

Yeah, I would have to agree that it is also the announcement of Kurt Angle.
Jarrett winning the KOTM was the biggest disaster as well though. TNA really could have done some HUGE things had they given the title to a more unlikely champion.
Christian should have done more as well.
Also they REALLY need to work on their storyline continuity, but thats another thread for another day.

i ment the way he won it. for me that was one of the best finishes of the year. and take note that only a few weeks later ecw had a screwjob finish when show beat rvd but it didnt get nearly as much crowd reaction as KOTM did.
about the storylines: they change whenever a new writer is added, cornette was added so it changed, a few months later russo was added so they changed yet again, if heyman is added it will happen again. when the writing crew is set and solid then you'll get the continuity they need.

I think one of the reason the crowd reacted so strongly when Jarret won the KOTM is because the fans legitametly hate him while the fans don't really have a problem with The Big Show.

If you want a heel champion... what a way to get it going having Jarrett win the the title the way he did... And his storyline continued for quite sometime until he lost the title to Sting... To me Jarrett winning the belt had the biggest reaction of the year, bigger than angle coming into TNA... and based on the crowd reaction and the fact that there has not been anything close to that since the old WCW/nWo reactions.... Hands down the results of KotM is the winner in my book.

Have you seen the YouTube footage of the TNA crowd when they saw it was Angle in the video at No Surrender? The crowd errupted.
The reaction to Jarrett was pretty strong though, and I am surprised that fans don't do that more often (throwing stuff into the ring). It was pretty common in WCW when heels would win.

It was easily Angle I mean there hasn't been a singing like that since Hogan signed with WCW. Altough we didn't have that big of a celebration like they did for Hogan
