During a promo that aired during Victory Road, TNA announced that Bound for Glory(their flagship PPV) will be held in Detroit. This is a good move for TNA since it will be their first monthly PPV to be held outside of Orlando.

Yeah this is good news for TNA. Whenever I see a TNA PPV it doesn't seem special since it's in the same arena as all their other events. Hopfully this will pave the way for them to regularly have PPVs away from Orlando.
If they do well enougth in Detroit then I have no doubt they will start doing more PPV's outside of Detroit. You are right in that they don't seem as special because it's same location as their iMPACT show with no real differences.
