Samoa Joe's TNA Streak

That's right I'm making another thread here.. Honestly at M.onks they couldn't care less about TNA so here we go...

This is a two part question. How should it end and who should end it?

I guess I'm wondering if there's a guy in the company that you are looking at to be the man that finally defeats Samoa Joe. Joe started this streak around a year ago and all challengers have fallen by his side. Sure TNA has found ways to get the X Title off of him without the streak ending and that was smart, I have a feeling the streak won't end until Samoa Joe is NWA World Heavyweight Champion...

This streak has some Goldberg-esque qualities to it, how Goldberg won the mid card title 1st, then went on to win the World Title, but the ending of his streak left a bad taste in my mouth. Kevin Nash? That's the best they could come up with.. To my understanding it ws Nash who booked himself to go over Goldberg in that case and not only was it selfish but in my opinion marked to beginning of the end for WCW. They should have waitied it out for the right time and thrown a chip to an up and comer in the company. Can you imagine how huge it would have been for a guy like Eddie Guerrero to be the one to end Goldberg's streak? But no.. that didn't happen and now WCW is dead..

So lets hope TNA handles the streak with Joe a little better.. I believe it needs to be a guy that's on the rise and I guy that could catapult himself to the top of the company with the win.

I swear, if it's Jeff Jarrett who ends this, TNA is ruined forever. Don't screw it up.

As soon as I put two and two together and saw Nash was back in the TNA house I was thinking, this is so leading to him eventually being the first guy to beat Joe. He starts with the little guys, the X-division guys, beats them, belittles the X-division ultimately leading to a showdown with the guy that was the king of that division. Have him bring into the equation how winning streaks mean nothing to him, bring up Goldberg and boom badda bing, you've killed Joe in one foul stroke. I bet Nash is politicking for this backstage right now.

Personally, I'm not having anyone beat him for quite some time yet. Simply put, he's their best hope of holding up a champion name that has no WWE identity and with which, therefore, they can build there company as being a separate identity.

Of course, the reality is it's going to be Jarrett or Nash though, but for me, the title needs to go on Joe soon and he needs to carry on unbeaten until they've built someone up to a level where they can take over from him. Transitional ex and old WWE guys don't even come into my equation

I'll tell you who will end it, its going to be Chris Sabin or Alex Shelley or even Petey Williams. You will develop a younger star into becoming a big player in your company as well.

I think it's a "qualified" unbeaten streak. He hasn't (to my knowledge) been pinned or submitted in any match

he will win the belt in the next two ppvs...he will hold on to it for at least six months and then they will find someone to beat him.. i really do not want jeff to beat him or even sting.. then needs someone young to do it like christan cage or someone like that

He's lost several triple threat matches. That's the difference between his streak and Goldbergs, Goldberg didn't lose ANY matches before Kevin Nash booked himself to win the title.

At this point I think they should keep his one-on-one streak going until he wins the NWA World Title, that will be at Hard Justice in August. Have him hold onto the title until Bound for Glory in October where he will lose the title and his winning streak to Chris Sabin, it will be a huge boost to Sabin's career to end Joe's singles winning streak AND win the NWA World Heavyweight Title.
