Our illustrious JV himself used to prattle on (to himself usually) about how start up organisations have to create their own identity, not to associate themselves with WWE in a way that makes them look like a cheap WWE knock off.

This irritates me constantly with TNA in particular. Just when you think they are in a position where they have survived the initial problems, their performers do stuff that reminds you of where they used to be and who they used to be.

You've got the Dudley Boyz telling us almost every week about how they are the real extreme and what's going on up North isn't the real deal. Then you've got BG James crotch chopping all over the frikkin joint when he may as well stand there with a sign saying "I used to be in DX"

Why do it? All it does, for me, is making me think....oh yeah there's an ECW reunion in WWE at the moment, or, DX are back in WWE aren't they.

Stop doing this TNA you twats, you're giving Vince free publicity and making yourselves look even smaller than you are.

I agree, TNA needs to forget about WWE and most of all forget about WCW has beens.. my God.. Stick with what they were doing, the X-Division and building new stars..

All this WWE hi makes them look like a minor league team and WWE is the Yankees.

they just need to focus on TNA and that is it.. do not worry what the wwe is doing beause they can not compete with then,....

I think Paul Heyman said it best in an interview he did prior to the re-launch of WWECW. They need to sell the TNA experience. TNA has some great talent in there. They need to push guys like Samoa Joe to the title and really show everybody what TNA is all about and not just use it as a place to bitch about oppurtunities that weren't presented in WWE. That's the main reason i don't watch TNA, although my boy Christian Cage is there.

Some wrestlers are type-cast (much like some Hollywood actors) & keep the same, or similar gimmick...even when they do end up switching promotions. As long as it's still entertaining, I have no problem with it.

Really tho', no matter how bad it is to see these guys do what they used to do before they got "old", you can't just give a guy like Scott Borden or Scott Stiener a completley new gimmick and say go out there and wrestle from the bottom up, obviously they have to stay the same for ppl to remember, OR at least understand what's goin' on.
If we don't want to see the same guys, the only way were not going to is when they quit!
