The thing is that ROH makes money doing what they are doing. They aren't interested in building up their brand to get a TV deal because it would mean guys like, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Homicide, Alex Shelley, Christopher Daniels, Roderick Strong, and Austin Aries wouldn't be able to work for them cause I doubt TNA would allow that with a tv deal. Also, the added amount of Production costs, they would probably lose money.
They make plenty of money off of their DVD sales because there is a market out there of people who will buy them. I think everyone should get their Milestone Series which started with Arena Warfare I think is the name and it was the start of their feud with CZW and ended with the Connecticut show this past weekend.

If they ever want to be considered a major promotion they need to get a TV deal, that's the main reason I don't think their title should be considered a World title.

It's different for ROH though because getting a TV could in turn lead to the demise of the company..
Sure if it worked out, they'd be much better off but if it didn't, they'd be screwed totally.. So, I agree with Airr here, maybe a tv deal wouldn't be best for them long term..
On a side note, I do agree that their title probably shouldn't be considered a World Title, but that's what happens when you have the biased journalism by people liek Meltzer, who don't believe WWE has EVER had a decent match EVER in their history..
I love ROH though and will be attending more shows for sure.. They are close by, pretty cheap, and they give you GREAT wrestling matches every night.
PWI is full of pop-ups(it's one of the reasons I don't like the website), it was a decent review though(better than some of the spoilers those 12 year olds do at Wrestling Observer).
