For the Heavyweight Title, Monty Brown is the #1 contender and then it is Samoa Joe. Does this mean that if Cage defends his title at Destination X, is Joe the #1 contender for the belt? Brock Lesnar is #4 on the list, if Cage had to defend against him, would he have to go to Japan to face him since Lesnar can not fight in the US. Do these rankings mean anything or are they just for show?

They mean more than WWE's rankings, although i'm not sure why Brock Lesnar is rated #4. If Cage retains his title against Monty Brown at Destination X that doesn't automatically make Samoa Joe the #1 contenter, although I imagine he will get a title shot eventually.

Well, I was checking out the NWA web site some more and New Japan Pro Wrestling is a member of the NWA. Through the NWA, they are known as NWA-PRO. I guess, that makes sense for Brock Lesnar to be #4 since he is the IWGP Heavyweight Champ.

I guess that's why. TNA own the NWA World Title until 2014 though, so the only way Brock couldhold it would be if he were to defend it in TNA and I don't think WWE would allow that since they are a direct competitor.
