Big TNA Update: Morphoplex, New Talent, Sammartino
By Ryan Clark
03/01/2006 - - The relationship between TNA and Morphoplex is over.
- TNA's 3/12 PPV goes head to head with the season debut of "The Sopranos."
- TNA has had interest in using IWA stand out Ricky Banderas. Dutch Mantel has nixed any plans as he works for rival WWC in Puerto Rico. Banderas is signed with IWA until July.
- TNA sent out feelers to Bruno Sammartino to work as a babyface authority figure to counter Larry Zbyskzo, but its considered a long shot at best.
- Dave Meltzer reports that there is serious talk inside TNA of holding the Bound for Glory PPV outside of Orlando this year. TNA is pleased with the sales so far for the 3/17 house show in Plymouth, MI, and Dixie Carter believes that they could draw well on the road for a PPV.

Maybe they could hold it in Buffalo, they've mentioned that it does well here. Buffalo is also only an hour away so I would be able to go see it.

The thing with TNA is that it is cheap for them to have shows in Orlando. Since they are a company that is in the red, I would imagine they wouldn't do any overseas shows until they can make some money. I think it be very interesting to see if they ever try to come up to the Northeast into WWE country.
