Rep Power: 32 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Christian Cage: NWA Heavyweight Champion Im surprised that there isnt already a thread for this. What do you guys think of Christian as the champ? Glad? Don't care? Atleast its not on Double J? Ive been a Christian peep for awhile now so im elated. It's about time. Hopefully he will have it for awhile. Thoughts?

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | It's long overdue, I was so happy when I read about Christian pinning Jarrett at Against All Odds. Part of the reason being that Jarrett is not main event material and wouldn't be champion if he wasn't minority owner of TNA. WWE never showed confidence in Christian, but he has a strong following and is relly good in the ring. Very deserving of the NWA World Heavyweight Title. |

Rep Power: 54 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am very happy that Christian is the Champion. He definitely deserves it. That being said, I am not so sure how good this is going to make TNA look. WWE never let Christian never have the chance he deserved at the upper card, therefore he was a WWE midcarder. TNA putting the title on him within a month after his debut was a bit soon. How is TNA going to look by (forgive me for this) taking a WWE reject and making him NWA champion so soon? But they did let Rhyno have a short title run so if he had it Christian can't hurt TNA's credibility anymore than he did. I just think it was a bit soon. I think they should have waited a few months down the road and let Christian have some good matches then put the title on him in about June.

Right now he is only serious, he doesent have that comedy factor he had with WWE. He shouldent be all just comedy, but he should do both.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I think its great, I really hope this does good things for TNA. Like just ratings start to go up and all that kinda stuff. Christian deserves it, he can carry a good match and a good promo he's just got it all and now I think its really his time to shine. I hope they keep it on him for a good long time and he'll have some really great matches.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I'm just happy that Jarrett is no longer champ. I think Christian makes a good champ and should represent the NWA title well and bring it back up to the stature that we all knew it as before. He is the right guy to help lead TNA into their next step which is the primetime slot. |
