The Impact of Sting

So what do you think? First, does this guy even have any draw power left? He hasn't mattered in the wrestling world for about 5 years now.

I was always a big fan of his, I'll probably still be a fan, and I'm not knocking the idea of TNA signing him. Hell, WWE would have liked to sign him numerous times.

I just don't know if it's a good idea to place him as the face of TNA.

Thoughts?

Not as the face of the TNA. But good pick up of course.. I havent seen him sence the last wcw show, so Im not sure how in shape he is.

Hopefully he has aged well.

Ya, it's just that TNA guys like Tenay keep saying things like "The Man in '06" and all that. I know they have to treat it like a big signing, it is a pretty big signing, but to me Christian's signing was bigger.

A guy like Christian, who is still pretty young, should be the face of TNA. Sting is a good addition, but I fear they are going to take it too far with him. He doesn't need to be in every main event or win titles and shit.

We'll see.

i think it's a good thing - although we don't get TNA in aus so i have no way of watching him

I think it'll be pretty good for TNA at least i really hope it will be. Sting still has some draw power left, at least it worked on me, I'll be ordering Final Resoultion my first TNA ppv. But thats also because the wwe ppv looks extreamly predictable and boring and i want to see a PPV this month.

He will beat Jarrett, then two weeks later in a title match, two more faces will turn heel to help Jarrett win back the belt. It's the TNA way

That's so true it's not even funny. TNA will never get bigger unless Jarrett steps back and these other veterans know their role.

This company needs to be built up through the x-division and the young stars like Christian and Jeff Hardy.

If he's not "phoning it in" as he was in WCW from 1998 onwards then I'd love to see him feuding with Joe, Christian, Rhino, Raven, Abyss, Styles, Daniels, Monty etc.....but the truth is he's penned in for Jarrett and that is going to bore the ass of me.

I don't mind if he feuds with Jarrett at first since I haven't seen him since the last Nitro in March 2001. After that though I hope he doen't hog the main event and feuds with other people, I would love to see him feud with AJ Styles.
