Would they prosper in WWE?

Most TNA fans on here seem to agree that AJ, Fallen Angel, Petey Williams etc shouldn't ever bother going to WWE as they would be ruined (wrestling wise) up there.

However, what about some of the others.

Samoa Joe, Alpha Male, Abyss.....these guys have the right sort of size (maybe not the right look) for WWE land. Would you be happy to see them go there? Do you think they'd make a difference to Vinceworld?

I think Abyss would do ok because hes big. Vince likes big things.

Only thing that bugs me is AJ's got a few dream matches up in WWE.

I concur. I think he would possibly like Monty Brown best of all since he's more of a comic book character, the type that Vince traditionally likes, and his mic skills are so good.

As for AJ.....The trend, as with Christian, could well be that those dream matches end up taking place in TNA rather than WWE.

Haha, I don't mean that (yet anyway).

I could well see guys from the mid and lower card like RVD, Shelton, Paul London....maybe even further down the line Benoit, Jericho and others eventually going there for some steller matches with AJ.

Yanno, Kurt Angle and Shawn do just fine and they are not big. People are so hung up with WWE and thinking they only push big guys. Benoit and Edddie were world/WWE champs yanno. Just because they didn't stay champs for years like HHH...Lets not forget the SCSA and even Cena really isn't that big. Seeing him live, you will know what I mean.

That being said, I think those guys would do great in WWE if there were enough talent like TNA has for the X. Keep in mind that TNA has more than just 2 top notch X division talent.A lot of the guys there can hang with AJ and Petey with ease. You can't say that for guys in WWE. They seem pretty stale if you ask me.

Guys like Benoit and Eddie though, as well as being awesome pieces of talent, were completely ripped....unlike AJ, Daniels or Petey. AJ looked tiny in the ring compared to Sting when he was last there, and Daniels and Petey are smaller than AJ. I've seen Shawn, Cena, SCSA etc all live as well as the TNA guys and they are all much bigger than the three TNA guys.

It's not a bad thing that Vince likes his big guys...that's the way he's always gone and always will. Vince has said before he can't stand a wrestler being smaller than himself!! He has also said that he wants his wrestlers to make people turn heads because of their look at the airport. I doubt any of the three above do that.

However it is good to watch a different product putting over wrestling in a different way. As with all things on here, it's an opinion, but I don't think Vinny Mac would push any of those guys anywhere near as much as they are on TNA. You are right on the other guys in the X Division as well though Ida, a lot of them are also very fine. It's just those three stand out more for me.

It's funny, way back after about a year or so when TNA had been around, people were saying that TNA needs more big guys to balance out having the smaller guys there. I bet those are the same people ragging on Vince for liking the bigger wrestlers. The next thing we know, enter Abyss,Monty, and some other big guys I can't recall at the moment. You can't tell me that if TNA had the chance to grap Batastia,Brock,Goldberg,Masters,Orton, etc that they wouldn't do it in a heartbeat.

Of course they would. I know for a fact though that you can't be talking about me there since I like the big guys and the small guys equally. I just wish Vince did.

There is a reaon that in every division in any sport, that the biggest guys get teh WORKD title. Because they are the most powerful etc. Sure the small guys can put on some of the most amazing matches, but there is nothing better to a lot of people than seeing a big guy take a fall. Vince is big so naturally he is going to want to see guys his size and bigger do well. I am sure he is living vicariously through him and also had it ingrained in his head from day one from his father. Afterall, he was the man who hired Hogan in the first place, and the whol reason Vince is where he is today is because of the big man. I bet he thinks that he can have all that again by finding the right mix with them and THEN once that is stablized, work on building up the smaller guys.
