Have you ever seen a Cage Match live?

I know this doesn't seem like a big deal, but on November 12th, my local fed is having it's first ever Cage Matchand I'm so pumper. I can't wait. It also helps that two of my favourite grapplers from the company are in it.

What was your live Steel Cage experience like?

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

This isn't technically considered a steel cage match, but when I went to Summerslam in 1999, Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman fought in a Lions Den Weapons Match. It was basically like the UFC cage with a walkway on top with weapons on it. It was an amazing match. I wouldn't mind seeing a HIAC or an Elimination Chamber match in person at all.

Suprisingly not since i've only been to 1 event (soon to be 2 when RAW is in the UK).

I would love to see one though.

Edge will rise again...

I've never seen a cage match live, hopefully the next time SmackDown comes to my city(since we never get Raw,the closest we got was a Raw live event) they will have a cage match.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

I saw a cage match at a Raw live event about two years ago I think. I know HHH was involved because I got a picture of him at the top of the cage but I don't remember who he wrestled.

I've never seen a cage match before, but I saw the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania. That was a pretty damn goood match to watch live.

Thanks for the memories Eddie!

I've seen a few in my times. One on raw. Some on old WWF house shows probably like 4 or 5 times and i saw a few at wcw house shows. i believe the wcw one was sting versus hogan and it was a good match frmo what i remember.

Seen mostly WWE ones and not that impressed really. They save all the good stuff for TV, as usual.

Back in 92 I saw Ric Flair and Roddy Piper wrestle in a cage match (old school blue bars cage!). It was on a house show and they went 20-25 minutes and it was really good. Flair did some comedy spots (getting his trunks pulled down) but also bladed (big surprise). One of my favorite matches I've seen live.

I've also been witness to a BLUE CAGE match (the best cage ever!). It was probably 1989 - The Ultimate Warrior defending the Intercontinental Title against Dino Bravo at Market Square Arena. Classic.
