I was just thinking to myself "who was the best NWA champ in TNA?" so I decided to make this here thread. I your opinion who was the best:
NWA champ? I think Christian will end up being the best to date.
X-Division champ? I'm going to say Fallen Angel ( and I hope he gets it back soon)
Tag champs? I hate to say it, but I have to go with AMW for now.

but since the NWA championship has been around for soooo long and has had sooo many great names attached to it, it's hard for me to say Christian (although I am a HUGE fan of his) I am going to have to go with this:

my bad I didn't see the TNA part. I got excited when I saw NWA champ due to the fact it's my favorite championship overall... in this case I would actually have a split decision... Before anyone get's their panties in a wad just hear me out... Christian is excellent, but I will also go with Jarrett... now now... wait a second. don't start replying yet....
Jeff Jarrett as a champion alone is not that great...as a face... but once you consider in the fact that he was a heel champ it's hard to argue that he was one of the best heel champs maybe of all time. He wasn't a heel that you ever could muster a cheer for and call a tweener in any way. He was HATED and had the ability to keep you hating him unlike some heels that become tweeners over time as champ. When Jarrett had the belt and continued to win, you always cheered for the other guy didn't ya'? Did it really even matter who it was now that you think of it. Nah, it really didn't. And you can't tell me that if Monty Brown would have gone for the belt that you wouldn't have cheered him because you know you would have. And anyone who could have made you cheer for Monty Brown just because he was going against you is a TRUE heel and plays his part beautifully. Also, Jarrett being such a hated champion helped make Christian's win over him that much sweeter didn't it? How many times had he won by hitting someone with that stupid guitar? It was getting onld wasn't it, but Cage found a way to beat it and as he was winning the belt you were almost in disbelief as it was happening. I know I was saying to my self he's going to kick and then when the kick didn't come it took about 2 minutes for it to really sink in. And if Jarrett hadn't been such a great heel champion would the win have had that kind of effect on you? Not 1/4 as much...Because of this, as much as I hate to say it. JJ had one of the greatest runs as NWA champ in history and probably was the best TNA champ to date because he played his part perfectly. But Christians reign has enough potential to surpass this as he has Abyss, Brown, Sting and so many more lined up to have a realistic run after the belt. We'll see what time holds for him

Damn, I hate Jarrett and I'm going to have to admit that he did a good job. Your right no champ has ever been as hated as JJ and he made sure of it. He did a great job playing the perfect heel, no tweener as you said griff. So 'll have to give it to you but i'm still saying Christian cause i hate JJ. lol

lol see he still is working his magic... mkaing you not pick him because you hate him... I am a huge lover of the heels.... but I hate JJ too... so he is what I would classify as the Superheel... lol funny enough like Flair was with the Horseman.
