Rep Power: 51 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | TNA Slammiversary Results - June 19, 2005(Including New Champ!) TNA Slammiversary Results - June 19, 2005 By Reverend BSB 06/19/2005 - TNA Slammiversary Results - June 19, 2005 PRE SHOW Jeremy Borash and Shane Douglas welcome us to the Impact Zone. It is TNA Wrestlings anniversary. Three years ago tonight TNAs first show premiered. JB and SD run down the card for us, then send us to some footage to refresh us on the feuds so far. We go to ringside where Mike Tenay and Don West greet us, then send us to Larry Zybysko in the ring for a major announcement. Larry talks about the internal strife in TNA, and says that Dusty could not handle the pressure of being DOA. Big Dusty sucks chant from the crowd. Larry says Dusty has been fired, not quit as the rumors said. Larry asks for a moment of silence for Dusty, but Jeff Jarretts music hits and he comes down to the ring. JJ tells Larry to tell the truth, that Dusty was run off by JJ. JJ says he built TNA, and that tonight he will come down to the ring for a match he made famous, the King of the Mountain match. And tonight JJ will beat four men to win back his title. Crowd is ripping JJ apart with boring chants here. JJ poses, then we see Raven making his way through the crowd to the ring. Larry yells for security, and Raven grabs a mike. Raven bitches about not being in the KOM match, and Sean Waltman being in instead. Raven says he beat Waltman at Hard Justice, so he should be next in line. Raven says Larry must be in cahoots with JJ, that is why Raven is not in. Raven talks about being held down years ago by JJ in USWA, then now in TNA. Raven tells Larry to put him in the match. Crowd chants PUT HIM IN! JJ tells them to shut up, then tells Raven that all Raven does is whine. JJ says Raven does not deserve to be in the match. JJ insults ECW and hardcore wrestling, and slaps Raven. Raven goes for JJ, but security runs in and breaks them up. JJ rolls out of the ring, where a fan dressed as Hardy taunts JJ. JJ grabs the guys sign, then pushes him, but the guy wont shut up. Finally JJ grabs the guy and pulls him over the barricade and beats the crap out of him. Agents and JJs dad run down, and they drag JJ backstage. JB apologizes for the incident, and acts confused about what to do. Tenay and West ask what is going on, they are doing a good job of making this seem unplanned. MATCH 1: SONNY SIAKI and APOLO vs. SIMON DIAMOND and TRYTAN . Simon gets on the mike and says Simon has a problem. He was forced to sit at home in obscurity. So he has done some recruiting, and has found a new ally, Trytan. Simon offers to shake Siakis hand, but hits him with a cheap shot. Siaki takes control with some hip tosses and a spinning heel kick. Siaki tags Apolo in, and the double team Simon and get a near fall. Simon tries to get back control, but runs into a powerslam from Apolo for another near fall. Simon gets a cheap shot in, then tags in Trytan. Trytan dominates Apolo with shoulder blocks and a big boot, then tags back in Simon. Simon hits Apolo with a series of chops, but Apolo hits a neckbreaker and both men are down. Apolo gets to Siaki, who keeps Simon from tagging in Trytan. Siaki hits a backbreaker on Simon, but Trytan breaks up the pin. Apolo runs in and hits Trytan with a superkick, but Simon breaks up the pin. Simon tosses Apolo out of the ring, then hits a superkick on Siaki. Trytan then T-3s Siaki for the win. WINNERS: TRYTAN and SIMON DIAMOND Backstage we see JJ being taken away in handcuffs, and Larry telling Raven that this is his lucky night. Larry tells Raven he is sick of his whining, and Raven will be in the King of the Mountain match tonight! JB and SD talk about this development, and Don West joins them to sell the show some more. They talk about some of the stars that have been born in TNA, such as AJ Styles, Americas Most Wanted, and Triple X. MAIN SHOW 1. Another amazing video package opens the show, showing some of the greatest moments from TNAs last 3 years. We go back to the Impact Zone where Tenay and West welcome us to the show. They talk about the JJ incident from the pre show, and remind us that Raven will take his place in the King of the Mountain match tonight. MATCH 1: ZACH GOWEN vs. DELIRIOUS vs. AMAZING RED vs. PRIMETIME ELIX SKIPPER vs. SHARK BOY vs. JERELLE CLARKE. West talks about Shark Boy suing Disney. Delirious and Skipper talk start us out, and Delirious acts goofy. Skipper beats him down, so he tags in red. Red and Skipper go back and forth, neither man able to gain an advantage. Skipper tags in Clarke, who knocks down Red and goes for a handspring splash, but misses. Gowen tags himself in, and goes for a legdrop on Clarke, but misses and Clarke tags in Shark Boy. Shark Boy goes for a slam, but Gowen reverses into a reverse DDT. It all breaks down right here, with dives and brawling outside the ring. Theres a five man superplex, a moonsault from Gowen, standing shooting star press from Red, near falls galore, and Shark Boy hits the Dead Sea Drop on Delirious for the win. WINNER: SHARK BOY 2. Backstage we see Abyss mentally preparing for the match later. We then go to Shane Douglas backstage with Shocker, who claims he is the best luchadore in TNA. Alex Shelley interrupts him, and says he can do luchadore, as well as any other style there is. Shocker yells some stuff in Spanish, and Shane tells his english. Shocker says that Shelley does not know what he has got himself into. MATCH 2: ALEX SHELLEY vs. SHOCKER. Shocker comes out wearing overalls. Really dumb looking. Dueling chants from the crowd for Shelley and Shocker. Chain wrestling to start, with both men exchanging holds and lots of mat wrestling. Shelley ducks out of the ring for a breather, then back in for more mat wrestling. Shelley actually kisses Shockers foot, then asks for a handshake. Shelley gets a cheap shot in. Action goes back and forth, too fast to keep up with. Neither man gets a real advantage, till Shocker goes for a moonsault and Shelley gets the knees up. Shelley hits a backdrop for a near fall, then a Russian leg sweep into a roll up submission moves that I have never seen the like of. Shelley grabs the ropes, so the ref makes him break the hold. Shelley comes off the top, but Shocker hits him with a dropkick to the gut. Shelley ducks out of the ring, so Shocker does a Suicide Dive out of the ring, crashing into Shelley. Both men make it back in the ring, and Shelley rolls up Shocker for a near fall. Shocker rolls up Shelley, but Shelley counters with a dropkick. Outlaw hits a low blow to get back control. Outlaw goes for a stinger splash and misses, and Ron slams the Outlaw face into the turnbuckle. Outlaw is on the apron now, and Ron goes for a jumping side kick, but Outlaw jumps off the apron and Ron ends up crotched on the top rope. Outlaw drags Ron out of the ring, and slams him into the stairs. Some crowd members hold up a chair so Outlaw goes to slam Rons head into it, but Ron reverses and slams Outlaws head into it. Both men head back in the ring, and Outlaw locks Ron into a chinlock. Ron tries to fight out, but Outlaw stays in control. Outlaw slams Ron, then goes to the middle rope. Outlaw takes the time to pose for the crowd, so when he comes off Ron greets him with both feet to Outlaws face.
