Some final news from backstage at Orlando's Universal Studios before we go live on Pay-Per-View tonight:

Despite a staph infection in his leg, Kevin Nash has arrived at the arena. Nash will be undergoing therapy throughout the day, and a personal physician will be on hand to assist him. TNA will update fans on Nash's condition at the start of the Pay-Per-View.
- If Nash is unable to compete, Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes has a plan in place to name a replacement in the six-man Six Sides of Steel cage match. In addition, a lottery will take place during the Pay-Per-View to determine order of entry in the bout for Jarrett, Outlaw, Waltman, DDP, The Alpha Male and Nash/or his replacement.
- The main event of Lockdown will be the number-one contender's match, AJ Styles vs. Abyss inside the Six Sides of Steel
- The scheduled Apolo vs. Lance Hoyt match has been changed to a tag team bout with Apolo and Sonny Siaki vs. Lance Hoyt and Chris Candido, who moves from the Countdown Preshow to the Pay-Per-View.
- The X Division "Xscape" match will be an elimination bout to start off, with the final two competitors fighting it out to escape the cage first to win
- The Prince of Darkness bout between Dustin Rhodes and Bobby Roode will be 2-out-of-3 falls, with the Prince of Darkness hoods coming into play if a third fall is needed.
- TNA set design coordinator Greg Horn has gone all-out for Lockdown tonight, as the arena will resemble a maximum security prison. Steel cages will line the arena and some parts of the seating area.
