The heavyweight champion etc I'll come back with thoughts tomorrow... Top 5 heels, Top 5 Faces |

Rep Power: 45 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is kind of tough with the guys they currently have in the heavyweight division..but here are my thoughts. (World Title) Jeff Jarrett vs. Christopher Daniels: I think The Fallen Angel needs to be given a huge push. His gimmick is cool and he is one of the best workers in the company plus, he isn't too small to work Jeff. AJ Styles vs. Abyss: It looks like they might do this and that's good. Abyss ain't bad and AJ does a good job of fighting somebody bigger than him. AJ could work with anybody. Ron Killings vs. Kid Kash: I like Kash. Good on the mic, really good in the ring and he could pull of a story where he is hating on Killings. Trailor Park Thug vs. Street Thug. Bobby Roode vs. DDP: I don't really like Page anymore, but it'd be nice to see him put over a young guy. Roode has some ability and I think in TNA he could go far. Raven vs. Jeff Hardy: Raven isn't what he once was, but some hardcore matches between these two could work. Cage match, Ladder, Falls Count Anywhere, etc. Raven's Promos would be awesome too. Like I said...They need more viable heavyweights.

Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I dont watch TNA, but anyway........ Jeff Jarrett vs AJ Stylez...the 2 biggest names should fight over the Title, with AJ of course carrying the company. Sonny Siaki vs DDP...DDP puts over this youngster and helps him become a star. Monty Brown vs Ron Killings...I always liked Killings and even tho I have never seen The Alpha Male, I think this feud could work. Kid Kash vs Jeff Hardy...Kid Kash should be a star. Him and Jeff would put on amazing matches. I would have Kash ultimately go over. The Outlaw vs Raven...have Raven turn face and go against Billy. Maybe they could fight for the #1 contender spot or something.

Rep Power: 44 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Heels: 1. AJ Styles: Incredible wrestler. One of the best in the business in my opinion. Seems like he has the tools to be the next Bret Hart if gave the proper push. Hopefully TNA resigns him, and gives him superstar treatment. I'd give him the belt for a stretch of time, and let him run with it. 2. Christopher Daniels: This guy also is one of the people that interest me whenever I see him out there. Always seems to have something good to say, and has a certain superstar presents to him. He's great in the ring too. I think he could definitly be near the top of the division, and pushed as a heel would really get people hooked. 3. Abyss: He doesnt even need a belt to get over, definitly a great Kane like gimmick. Possibly a title run down the road sometime, but nothing right away. He's fine as is, I think the most important thing is involving him in good feuds, and just getting people interested. 4. Kevin Nash: With Scott Hall can be a little bit interesting still. He's horrible in the ring, but he's good alright mic presents. I never found him to be Heavy title material so I'd simply use him in good angles. This whole rehash NWO angles over and over again is definitly getting steel though. I dont know again for right now he's a decent, and will atleast give TNA some superstar type presents Syxx Pac: A head case, but still gets a little bit of a pop once in awhile. You really dont know what this guy is all about most of the time. He's better than Nash in the ring, but I'm not sure how much better. He was real good back in the day, but lately with this whole Chyna situation has really lost his cool. Guy seems a little on edge most of the time. I say they develop a new dx type group consisting of Syxx Pac, The Outlaw, BG Games, Hall & Nash. I think they would definitly get over big time Tweener: Raven: Lately I've been hearing he's been real out of shape, and not doing so good in the ring. Thats pretty disapointing. He's getting up there in age, and I'm not sure if he has much in the tank anymore. He still has incredible charisma, and does great promos. Last I saw him he was alright in the ring, and can still carry a pretty good match. He has always been involved in interesting angles, and I dont see this changing anytime soon. Faces: 1. Monty Brown: I say give him a title run if not now, very soon. He seems to be over with fans, and they are booking this guy to be the next Goldberg. You might as well give it a shot, and see if he has what it takes to carry the title. If not just use him in feuds with other big men like Abyss, and Kevin Nash. 2. Jeff Jarrett: They need to let this guy wrestle without the belt for awhile. Forming every single angle around Jeff Jarrett is not going to get a company over. Jeff Jarrett has always been a midcarder, upper midcarder at most. Making this guy into a main eventer is similar to the JBL situation. Now I think he's doing the best he can with the situation, but it's just not cutting it. Being realistic he's not cut out to be a heavyweight champion. I say involve him in good angles, and have him make people interested in them. But honestly I dont see him not being involved in the heavyweight title scene cause much like Triple H the guys seems addicted to the spotlight. Basically if he keeps this up he'll be the downfall of TNA IMO. 3. Ron Killings: Excellent wrestler, and should definitly be pushed strongly. Always liked his matches, and feel he brings something a little extra to the mix. He's pretty good on the mic as well, and will fit into a lot of storylines. I think he's would be best used as a face, cause he seems like a guy you could cheer for. He could have excellent feuds with AJ Styles, Syxx Pac, Raven, amongst others. The Outlaw Billy Gunn: I'm debating whether to make him a Heel or Face. I always think even if he's a heel he'll still get more cheers than boos. He seems to be well liked amongst fans. Him currently backing Jeff Jarrett is alright, but eventually I'd like to see him break out of that, and turn on Jarrett. His new gimmick is actually very good, and if he teams up with BG James again I think they could seriously contend for the tag team titles. DDP: Guy doesnt seem to have that much left in the tank, I'd use him for whatever time they can, and even after as a road agent/manager type role. He's good on the mic, and has lots of charisma so he's a good person to have around the lockerroom. I dont think you need to put this guy in title matches right now though, it seems every person they bring into the company they automatically give a title chance to them. That really brings down in house talent, and makes them look like crap. Like everything they've been working for has been shot to shit for some guy who walks onto the scene from a previous company. When someone new comes into a company they always get a pop for simply being new use that to your advantage, and take it from there. I'll be back with more later |
