On the 14th March, TNA Wrestling returns to Pay Per View when they bring to you live from the Universial Studios in Orlando, Florida 'Sacrifice'. In this years annual Sacrifice event we will see the finals in the World X Cup where all four teams will go at it in a gautlent match, and also a captain on captain match with Team Canada captain Petey Williams against Team Japan captain Jushin Liger. The saga between Sting and Jeff Jarrett will continue when Sting and a partner of his choosing will face Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner. Also at this event the NWA World Heavyweight Champion will be in action. In what could be the biggest match of his career, Christian Cage will put his belt on the line against 'The Monster' Abyss in a Full Metal Mayhem match. No doubt this will be another TNA PPV you won't want to miss!

For two months now 'The Monster' Abyss and James Mitchell have been terriorising the World Champion Christian Cage. This has included stalking Cage's wife Denise, and even assaulting Christian inside his own house. All of this just to get a World Title shot at Lockdown. A vengeful World Champion accepted the challange and the match had been set for LockDown. A few weeks before the championship bout James Mitchell guarenteed that Abyss would walk out as the World Champion, and lived up to his word. At Lockdown Cage was able to successfuly retain his title, but it didn't stop there. While attempting to attack James Mitchell, Cage got blindsighted by 'The Monster' and beaten down leaving Abyss, able to walk out in possesion of the NWA Title. The following iMpact Christian Cage came out with an announcement to make. At Sacrifice it would be Christian Cage vs. Abyss for the NWA World Title, in a Full Metal Mayhem match. The title would be suspended above the ring and the winner will be the one who has possesion of the NWA World Championship. Will this be the final chapter in the fued? Will Cage prove regain possesion of the NWA Championship? This match will be without a doubt, off the chain!

At Sacrifice the fued between Sting and Jeff Jarrett will continue, this time in tag team action. Ever since his return to TNA, Jeff Jarrett has had it in for Sting. But it wasn't until Jarrett hired Alex Shelley to video Sting that this fued begun heating up. Last month at Lockdown in the main event a 'War Games' match took place between Sting's Army and Jarrett's Army. While Sting's army was able to get the better of Jarrett, the fued did not stop there. It was announced that at Sacrifice Sting and a partner will go up against Jarrett and Steiner. For two weeks now Sting has said he has brought in wrestlers who will fight with him. But instead of choosing them himself, he gave Jarrett the oppertunaty to determine who Sting's partner would be. On the 29th edition of iMpact Sting said he had brought in two wrestlers COULD be his partner at Sacrifice is Jarrett chose him. Thinking that Sting was just full of it, Jarrett didn't pick anyone. But being a man of his word, Sting did bring in wrestlers in the form of Buff Bagwell and Lex Lugar. And then the next week it was Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner's brother. The next week Jarrett said he would pick the next person who Sting chooses. And that next person was in fact the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe. So now the match has been set. It will be Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting and Samoa Joe. Will Sting once again get the upper hand on Jarrett? Or will Steiner and Jarrett be the ones walking out with their heads high?

For over four months now America's Most Wanted have been walking around with the NWA World Tag Team Championships. With Gail Kim, and almost the whole Team Canada in their corner, they have seemed to be an unbeateable team. Two weeks ago on iMpact AJ Styles had made the challange to AMW for the NWA World Tag Team Championships. It would be two former enemies Styles and Daniels vs. AMW later on in the night. During the match we saw a typical AMW stunt. While the ref was knocked out, Gail Kim came into the ring and interferred by giving AJ Styles a snap hurricanrana and enabiling the champions to pick up the win. Now at Sacrifice, mr probation himself Larry Zbyzko made the match. It would be a rematch from iMpact. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Harris & James Storm for the NWA World Tag Team Championships, with Gail Kim and Jackie Gayda banned from ringside. Will AMW finally drop the tag team belts this Sunday at Sacrifice? Or will they somehow wriggle their way out and score the win?

Last week on iMpact to kick things of Team 3D in the ring. While in the ring they talked about how they should be the ones getting the NWA Tag Team Championships match at Sacrifice, not Daniels and Styles. Also while cutting this promo they managed to put in, 'We are the best Tag Team ever'. And then out came former WWE Tag Team Champions The James Gang. After an arguement about what team is the best, they decided to settle the score at Sacrifice. It will now be Team 3D vs. The James Gang, with the winner getting the bragging rights that they will have earnt.
Raven vs. A1
Only one month ago at LockDown it was announced that Raven was reinstated on the TNA roster, as well as Larry Zbyzko being on probation. Ever since that event Raven has been chasing around Zbyzko on iMpact. It was as if every time he came out, Raven wouldn't be too far behind. Worried about this, Mr Probation went to Coach Scott D'Amore and asked for help with this problem. Then the match was made for Sacrifice. It will now be the returning Raven up against the powerman of Team Canada A1.
Rhino vs. Bobby Rhode
The journey continues for Rhino as he now faces Bobby Rhode from Team Canada. Can Rhino defeat 'The Canadian Enforcer' Bobby Rhode? Or will Team Canada have the last laugh on 'The War Machine' Rhino?

Lol, I was going to post this myself but I guess you bet me to it. So far the matches look alright. Steiner and Jarrett vs Sting and ???; and Cage vs. Abyss. Should be good. And that World X Cup is going to be incredible. I got a good feeling about this PPV. Although it will be hard following an incredible Lockdown.

JUSHIN “THUNDER” LIGER VS. PETEY WILLIAMS AT “SACRIFICE”
TNAwrestling.com has learned a new match has been signed for the upcoming May 14 TNA “Sacrifice” Pay-Per-View epic event.
In a World X Cup bout, wrestling legend and Team Japan captain Jushin “Thunder” Liger returns to TNA to face off against Team Canada’s Petey Williams in a singles bout to be featured on the Pay-Per-View event.
The Japanese legend last competed at the “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View against “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe. Since that bout, fans have eagerly awaited the TNA return of the New Japan Pro Wrestling star.
In addition to the Liger vs. Williams bout, the finals of the World X Cup will take place at “Sacrifice”, as every international star will compete in a Gauntlet Match to determine final point standings. Two stars will begin the bout based on luck of the draw in this elimination-style gauntlet until one wrestler stands victorious.
Tune into “IMPACT!” this Thursday night on SpikeTV for more news about the Sunday, May 14 “Sacrifice” Pay-Per-View epic event!

Sacrifice looks to be building up really well. That World X Cup match should be a classic between Liger and Williams, as well as the Gaunlet Match. Tag match will be interesting. I can actually see Styles and Daniels walking out as the champions.

Looks like a Good PPV, I don't know if it will be able to top Lockdown 06, but Still. We might see some people actully break away from the X Divsion, and now with Petey Willams Vs Jushin Lyger. They can still keep the X Divsion strong while pushing younger talent. Whitch TNA really need to do right now. Cause thats really what the X divsion is all about is the young guys like Petey,Sonjay,Sabin and Shelley putting on innovative(sp?) matchs under normal rules.
and AJ/Daniels Vs AMW gives both AJ and Daniels to take a break and possibly break away from the X divsion and venture in to Tag Teams and Comingle with some of the higher card guys. so Should be a good PPV and good job for TNA finaly pulling the 3 main guys away from teh X divsion.

five matches and they all sound awesome so far. the way i see it is two more matches and its full. im guessing team 3d will also be on the card, espically after defeating team canada in the anthem match. hopefully raven and/or christy will be on it too.

the thing im most looking forward to in this ppv is the daniels/styles vs amw bc if they do continue with daniel and styles as a tag team it gives a great chance for them to push alex shelley or roderick strong (my two fav x stars lol)
and hopefully petey and jushin can prepare a great match and get over the language barrier
