| TNA Impact Report 3/25 TNA IMPACT REPORT by Richard Trionfo @ 7:35:00 PM on 3/25/2005 TNA Impact Report for March 25, 2005 by Richard Trionfo We are now less than a month from Lockdown, and it is time to see if Dusty Rhodes will give us a steel cage match with Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, and Sean Waltman facing Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, and William Pistol (Outlaw). What other matches will we see announced for Lockdown? Will we see A.J. Styles on this show? What will happen with the X Division title? Will Jeff Jarrett cut another promo that endears him to the fans in Orlando? Regardless of what happens on today’s show, it is Day 296 of the NWA World Title Held Hostage by Jeff Jarrett. This week’s show starts off with Abyss entering Dusty’s ‘office’ while Traci and Trinity are looking over contracts. Meanwhile, A.J. Styles happens to be walking by with a member of TNA security. We are back and Konnan is in the back and he wants to talk to William Pistol. He wants to know if Pistol is trying to break up 3 Live Kru. Brian James and Ron Killings stop by to break things up. Pistol says that he has some business to discuss with James. Konnan tells Killings that he knows that James is going to screw them over. It is time for our next match and out come David Young and Lex Lovett. Their opponents are Jeff Hardy and Shocker. Hardy and Young start things off. Hardy with an arm bar, but Young reverses. We are back and Diamond Dallas Page comes out and he talks about Dusty’s announcement about the six ‘walls’ of steel match that was mentioned last week for Lockdown. He wants Dusty to come out for the answer. We go to the Chute of Facial Impact and the Director of Authority and his assistants make their way out. Dusty tells Page and the rest of the Orlando crowd that at Lockdown, one of the ‘six sides of steel’ matches will be Jeff Jarrett, William Pistol, and Monty Brown versus Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and Diamond Dallas Page. Page tells Monty that life is all about decisions and he made a mistake. Page calls Brown a fool for joining with Jarrett. He calls William Pistol the Court Jester. On the JarretTrons, they show footage of Jeff Jarrett in the back while The Naturals, Chris Candido, and William Pistol are beating someone up. They leave and we see Kevin Nash laid out. Page runs to the back to help Nash. We go to commercial. We are back and Jeff Hardy is walking in the back and Raven stops him. Raven talks about Jeff’s match with Abyss. Kash wants to know if he is seeing two guys who just wrestled each other loving all over each other. Kash says that he did not like their match. Kash says that TNA was called WRESTLING, not the Puerto Rican/Samoan soap opera. Kash says that TNA is where the biggest and baddest lock it up in the ring, and there is no lovemaking in the ring, so if they want to continue to do that, they can leave. Siaki has a mic and he challenges Kash and Hoyt to a match right now. Kash says that they will not come to the ring because he knows that Siaki wants his hands all over Kash. They would consider coming down to punch their teeth out. Siaki says that since they won’t come to the ring, they will go up there and take care of them. Apollo and Siaki go up the ramp of Heelish Impact while Kash and Hoyt go to the back. We go to commercial. We are back and Shane Douglas is in the interview area with Dustin Rhodes, who will face Bobby Roode at Lockdown. Dustin says that Bobby is a great athlete. Storm with a superkick to Sassi and Harris goes up top for a Death Sentence, but before he goes up, Team Canada runs in and they attack Harris causing the ref to ask for the bell at 6:55. Sassi suplexes Storm and Tilly goes up for the splash. From out of nowhere, Dustin Rhodes comes in and he helps Harris and Storm fight off Team Canada. We go to credits. After the cameras stopped, America’s Most Wanted, Dustin Rhodes, and Team Canada fight on the ramp as the show ends. If you are a fan of the X Division, do not miss next week’s Elimination match to get a shot at Christopher Daniels at Lockdown between Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper, Michael Shane, and Petey Williams because it is the best match that I have seen taped for Impact.
