The primary difference is their respective styles. Abyss is like 6'9" and is primarily a power wrestler. He dominates his opponents with power moves and throws them around. Mankind was never a power wrestler and would risk his own safety and his own body in an effort to inflict damage on his opponent.

Sorry for the technical explanation But that's the main difference.

I always thought Abyss was one of the worst TNA performers. But, I guess he's the only big guy they have, so he at least fits that role

And I always thought of him as a combo of Kane and Mankind
