Aj Needs To Leave The X Division

TNA is doing well, but I feel they don't have a serious headliner. AJ has been with the company since the beginning and has the in-ring ability, fan base, needs some improvement on his promo work, but he should be TNA's go to guy. He needs to be the main event. He needs to carry the company on his shoulders. He can do for TNA what HBK, Bret Hart did for WWE. I feel this can only be accomplished by AJ leaving the X Division behind and leading the heavyweight division. HBK and Bret Hart would not of had the same impact if left in the IC title range with random heavyweight title reigns. AJ needs solid feuds with Monty Brown, Raven, Christian. What do you guys think?

First I.C belt and X division belt are completley different belt. The I.C. used to be a mid-card belt used to build new guys up so they could get tho the main event status i.e. HBK and Bret. The X-division is just that it's own division not a mid card belt. Hence the reason Joe, A.J., and Christopher Daniels stay at the top of this division. If anyone thinks these guys are mid carders you are sadly mistaken. As for A.J. leaving the X-division, not yet. They will still be bringing Sting back for a title shot sometime after Monty Brown and are in talks with Goldberg. Nothing finalized there but if comes to TNA better believe he will be getting a title shot. A.J would end up mid carding the heavyweight right now. Besides I think they should just push more of the heavyweight guys they already have like Rhino, Abyss, Hoyt, and there is a bunch more. They are still knew so they can get away with pushing people who aren't known and they should.

AJ seems to be doing fine in the X division right now, and it doesn't seem like he'd fit in that well with the current Heavyweight situation. Maybe some time in the future when the right situation arises, he could be pushed for the Heavyweight title.

I like AJ in the X-Divison. He should win the title at least one more time before moving on back the Heavyweight division. As for AJ himself.

AJ Styles= TNA

'and I'm not even marking for AJ there.

In order for TNA to keep the success that they are having currently they are going to have to continue to keep an established X-Division and a seperate HVYW division. THat to me is part of what makes TNA special. It hits a wide variety of different styles and gives it a seperate but equal feeling. And whencI hear X-Division the first name that pops up in my mind is AJ Styles. When you have a relation to division like AJ does to the X divisoon, you shouldn't take him away from it IMO

to me it would be like Flair going hardcore and joining ECW back in the day.sure it could work, but you're not going to be bring the best out of the performer and the division that way... as where keeping the thins the way they were you had the most success for both the promotion and the performer that could be achieved.

Yeah. AJ Styles is a great Heavyweight division wrestler. But he is a 'phenominal' X-Division wrestler. Jeff Jarret as the Heavyweight top heel and Christain for the HW top face seems to be working well at the moment to me. Let AJ flourish in the X-Division, while Captain Charisma and JJ take care of the HW front for awhile. Though AJ should still win the NWA WHC from time to time.

I can see AJ, Joe,and even Daniels as guys who more bridge the gap between the 2 divisions. But never take any of those guys "out" of the X Division.
