I was thinking the other day, "Man Mike Tenay is annoying" and just started thinkg that he really isnt a good commentator. He actually is a bad one. i feel they should get rid of him.
However, i know for a fact that he is an amazingly smart commentator, and has the wrestling knowledge if Jim ROSS and above.

Yeah, while your firing him, why not let AJ Styles, Hernadez, Mogan, and the MCMG go as well??
He is a great baby face commentator. He puts wrestlers, matches and story lines over, offers great background information, knows the name of just about every wrestling move, and is really believable in his baby face character ...
The only one as good as him is Matt Striker, and TBH just finding a commentator that works isnt really that easy. Look how long it took t replace West.

I have personally felt for a long time that JB should be doing commentary for TNA, as he would be more or less seen as a home grown guy and is entertaining.

Keep on Tenay. He is the stronger part of the broadcast anyway. Taz was all sounding good when he signed with the company. But his lack of caring really shows in his announcing duties. Tenay has always put his heart into the matches and reminds me of J.R. in a lot of ways as far as a commentator goes. I mean, his name even sounds like the promotion. Come on, you can't write stuff that good.

I completely agree with you sir. JB is very entertaining and i do believe that with a little training, he should take over commentary. However, Lauren isnt that great of a backstage personel.

He's awful in comparison to how good he used to be, much like Jim Ross. They should keep him for all the positives he has, but bring back Don West so you hear less of him.

Mike Teney used to be my favorite commentator behind Joey Styles during the Attitude Era. I don't feel as if he's been bad, but rather his instructions have been. The whole style for commentating in TNA has been over the top, make everything sound huge. Teney better when he was calm and could just inform the viewer history, the movies and backgrounds of the wrestlers. Allow him to be his own commentator again and I'm sure he'll be fine.
So my answer is stay.
