The Legends Title *Spoilers*
On iMPACT, Eric Young killed off the Legends title and in it's place redubbed it the Global title. Young also announced two "Rules":

1) He will never defend the title on US soil

2) He will never defend the title against an American


While the rules are most likely not official and will only serve in his feud with Kevin Nash, I'm digging the name change. It just makes the title feel less "Gimmicky" and it wont seem so weird to see non major stars holding the title. It looks like TNA officially has their secondary title for all wrestlers.

Canadians are always allowed to change their titles. (See Storm, Lance).

It would make sense with Hogan about to travel to Australia. I'd assume that he'll be able to get some TNA guys on his tour.

One thing I did think of after he announced it was they could bring in international wreslters but the not on US Soil thing kind of ruined it, then I thought they could go the really gimmicky and cheesy route and have someone attack and pin Eric Young for the belt at Epcot Center.

Regardless, I am interested in where they will go with it and am glad that Eric Young will be a part of this major angle

The rules won't stick, it's just a way to get heat by keeping the title without defending it (see: British Invasion's suspension).

I also dig the name change. Idiots seem to get too touchy over the whole "legends" part of the name. This will hopefully shut them up.
