TNA has been in Orlando Florida since i began watchin TNA in 05 i believe. I think it is time that they try to move around a little bit. I mean they should be able to go out and pick a small venue in different states. Like iMPACT before a PPV go to that city and have the show there. I think they should at least try it out.
Sure it is risky, but what reward comes without risk? I am sure when vince started buying out all the territories it was very risky, but look at what tremendous reward they got. When Bischoff started Nitro, that was extremely risky, and look at the reward they got, even if just for a little while?
TNA has the national fan base to do this, they can stick to some of the bigger towns like Vegas, LA, NYC, Nashville, Boltimore, Detriot, Portland, Houston, Dallas, etc. They also have a decent over seas market, so they can do a twice a year event in London...
thoiughts?

My WWE Universe NOC is UP! Check It Out! Credit and Thanks to: Doctor Doom for Banner. AWESOME DUDE!
first off it's a good spot. it's good they keep impact going there because it saves them money. they can go out of the area once in a while. right now with the economy in the way it is they need to save as much money as they can.

Think if TNA wasn't so fucking lazy the things they could do with that studio. They could use the theme park, pimp it out to fit any match they need, make it real fan interactive.
TNA just hasnt used that resource, which is poor buisness, but I dont know there finances. TNA cant leave because they wont come close to ever filling anougher venue on a regular basis. Plus some wrestlers in TNA are only there because of the relaxed scedual. Also the costs to fly to different venues, with out selling well would put mass financial pressure on TNA.
And that is why it will not and should not happen.
I would like to see TNA do shows across the country. I think they could do some small college arenas or some small towns throughout the states leading up to PPVs. Or, another option would be to tape Impact in the same area where an out-of-town PPV is, just to gauge what the fan base thinks and how well tickets sell.
I agree that they won't fill larger arenas, but I also think that getting away from the Impact Zone - outside of the 3/4 day live event tours - would be a good idea. They can keep playing it safe and stay in Orlando, but going outside of Florida for live Impact's would help bring them closer to that next level.

Assuming they want to go to the 'next level'. Right now they are sitting pretty comfortably. An entire managment restructure and culture shift would be needed if they went to a higher level. If not they would just go under.
Everyone assumes TNA want to rival the WWE, but in reality yeah they signed some big names, but they are making money, doing good ratings, and selling there shit PPVs, so while we assume they want to expand we dont really know if they do. Everyone (Mangagment) may be happy as is.
And if they do grow they wont have the blood and alternative nature to the WWE rendition of Play School. They will have to market to a more profitable demographic. So growing could e bad for fans of how it is now.
That's very true. I was under the impression that TNA wanted to be up there with WWE. But, I don't know what management has in store. For now, it's been working out just fine for them, so I can't really complain.

The Impact Zone is extremely cheesy. The fans are losers who are complete marks for themselves and chant stupid shit just so they can watch it on TV and blush at the fact that they started the irrelevant chant. I'm not sure from the business side of things how the deal works so I won't be ignorant and comment on that.
TNA would be better to tour and do shows at small arenas, ball rooms, theatres, etc. 1000-3000 seats depending on how hot TNA is in the area. Nothing is worse than seeing a TNA PPV where they book an arena and it is hardly filled.
I doubt they could do this sucessfully, but wouldn't it be awesome for TNA to do their weekly show from the Manhattan Center? How often do they do tapings? Once every 4 weeks? In that case with a show watched by a million plus people each week they SHOULD be able to sell out a venue of this size in New York once a month.
The atmosphere would be a lot better. It would also make TNA look a lot more professional from a casual perspective. The wannabe "I'm only 16 but I watched ECW back in the day" ECW original fans would also eat it up.

Re: iMPACT ZONE: Stay or Leave?
I'm trying to plan my Feb trip to florida so that I can be among those retarded fans... I'm going anyways for some continuing education and disneyworld, so might as well try to catch a show.
I do wish they'd travel a little more (I had to miss the only time they were out my way and that was a year and a half ago I think). But I don't think they're ready to travel for every show WWE style, even if they continue to tape a few weeks at once so they can travel to one place and do a few shows over a two day period.
If you want them to travel, buy some of their crap and help support them.
