I wouldn't say he is an egotistic jerk these days. He did just look out for the safety of Chris Sabin. However, he has lost interest because he knows he has also lost ability and has lost power.

He is in it for the money and the good time. No problem with that. He worked with the x-division guys and got them more limelight. He genuinely seems like a good, easy going, likeable guy.

I think that Nash is just a waste now. Don't get me wrong I think that Nash is a great guy with what he did for Sabin, but he just doesn't have it in the ring anymore. If he would be a manager I would be cool with it.

GOING over means winning, PUTTING over or to be PUT over means to be made to look good. Jesus people...
Anyway Nash is great on the mic, charismatic, and sometimes watchable in the ring. For the most part, he's far more useless than useful though. At least as far as how he's booked.

You should not use terms if you dont know what they mean. Nash got next to no offence in that match so how exactly he went over is a mystery. He cought Styles off guard with one move. Styles dominated pretty much the entire match despite the massive size differance.
And, on his most recent PPV outing, he lost to Eric Young and took the fall himself even though Hernandez was also in the match.
He went over because he won the match. Looks like it's you who doesn't know your terminology so maybe refrain from embarassing yourself in future. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I know AJ got in most of the offence, but the fact that Kevin Nash of all people cleanly defeated a guy who was going to be World Champion a couple of months later is pretty laughable to me regardless of circumstances.
It's pretty well documented that he is to be honest. I don't even need to talk about WCW, and now he insists on remaining in the spotlight and competing in PPV matches despite being old and broken down. Plus I've heard interviews with him when he basically brags about his sexual exploits and other stuff. Seems like a jerk to me.

He's on PPV because he's a bigger name than half the guys in TNA, whether you like it or not. It's like Hogan appearing on WWE PPV a few years back. He may not be able to go that well anymore, but if you want to actually sell the show, who are you gonna use? A Hulk Hogan/Kevin Nash, or an Amazing Red/Consequences Creed?
And LOL at the interviews. Big Sexy FTW.

Well he's clearly not helping buyrates too much. Maybe if TNA had spent less time worrying about guys like Nash and more time building their own stars over the last few years...

Kevin Nash's stuff with Shelly was some of the most entertaining stuff TNA has ever done.
For the most part I wouldn't mind him being placed back with the Motor City Machine Guns. Maybe do an odd couple type thing where Shelly loves him, but Sabin and Nash don't quite get along due to their past feud yet Sabin knows it's good for him and Shelly to have Nash on their side.

That really needs to be said again. Prior to being put with Nash in 2006, Shelley was going nowhere in TNA. In 2004, he had that awful run as 'Baby Bear' with Goldylocks as his manager and teaming with Abyss. After leaving for a brief time, he returned in 2005 to have an uneventful series with Shocker before being grouped with Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. While that was great, it didn't last long as the faction died out when Strong and Aries stayed to wrestle at ROH's Unscripted II. A lot of the X-Division stars in the past, they aren't there anymore. Michael Shane, Low-Ki, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams, Jerrelle Clark, Elix Skipper, Jerry Lynn are just some examples of the talent that left. Kevin Nash is quite possibly the reason why Alex Shelley is still around.
If you ask me, that's enough reason not to find him to be a waste. Let him do something like that again. He was excellent while working against or with the X-Division.
