Writing out Angelina Love

How would you go about it?

My idea: First, basically acknowledge the whole snafu with the visa and make a joke out of it, putting all of the kayfabe blame onto Love. I think this could work since TBP are portrayed as total airheads anyway. Have Velvet complain about her newfound dilemma wherein she wants to win the tag titles, but nobody else in the Knockouts division is up to her extremely high standards for a new partner. Eventually, Hamada makes the case that since she wasn't pinned in the first round, she deserves a second chance. (I assume her attacking SoJo Bolt was a heel turn, but with TNA booking you never know.) Velvet does the standard "why should i team with somebody so ugly and with no fashion sense" act. Hamada proves her merit by beating Velvet up for a good five minutes with a variety of manuevers, and then asking her again as she lies in a broken heap. Velvet, grudgingly impressed, agrees. Hamada and Velvet then lose to Sarita and Taylor Wilde at No Surrender and break up afterwards, with Velvet then going solo until Angelina gets her papers in order.

I'd imagine the shows have already been recorded so they may be very limited on how they can get some reasoning out other than stating what happened.

They have a good two weeks to get the papers, it probably won't be a problem.

I would have TNA admit what happening and say that Velvet has to find a partner or she is out of the tourney, she can't, replace her with a team that has already lost and Velvet joins the World Elite with the argument that TNA and the United States Government conspired to make it so The Beautiful People could not be TNA Knockouts Tag team champions.

they can just make up an off-air reason such as Kong destroying her in a parking lot or something like that. It depends. If they plan on using her in the future they have to be careful on how they word her disappearance.

TNA apparently have recorded all their shows up to the PPV, so they're pretty much screwed, and they can't write Angelina out, they'll probably have to come forward about what's happened, or have Angelina get beaten up at the PPV, if they can do that. Personally i'd have Kong beat her up, then stick her in a box that says deported on the side, and that's the last you'll see of Angelina. Which ever way they do write her out, i'm more than sure that TNA will leave the door open for her. She'd be smart to go back because she has a very unique spot in the company, and she won't be easy to replace.

To my knowledge, they have yet to record the go-home show for the 17th, so there may still be an opportunity to paper things over.

In that case, they can just have Taras spider bite her, lol. I reckon that TBP where booked to win the titles, if that IS the case, then Velvet would still be qualified if Angelina dropped out, all she would have to do is find a last-minute replacement.
