TNA has released (via their website) the official poster for "Bound for Glory 2009". It features Sting and has the tagline "The Final Curtain?", probably in reference to the rumors that Sting may retire after the event.

Probably not a "retirement match" per say, but I'm sure they'll build it as Sting's final match. I hate the fact that they're using Sting to put Styles over, considering STYLES HAS BEEN OVER SINCE DAY 1. He doesn't need a rub, he's already regarded as one of TNA's top stars, at least in my eyes. I'd actually like to see a guy who hasn't been in the limelight get the opportunity. Problem is, who exactly would that be?
Morgan, and Young are the only guys that come to mind, which is pretty bad. I would add Hernandez to the discussion, but it seems TNA is looking to put the strap on him come BFG.
I think they're building for Matt Morgan v Kurt Angle.
Sting v Styles, it REALLY doesn't matter who goes over.
Something involving Team 3D, Beer Money, British Invasion and Steiner and Booker, for a tag unifying match.
Eric Young v Christopher Daniels v Samoa Joe would be good.
It kinda seems like it might have the feel of the Flair-Michaels angle heading into WrestleMania last year, where Styles is relunctant to do it until Flair physically (sp) assualts him. But, we'll see what happens...

I get the feeling that they are building towards a "fall on sharp shit" match. It would be some what of a dream match and they have started an angle together. There aren't many people they can team up to face, but people have compared Abyss to Foley for years and it could be Foley passing the hardcore torch.

because Abyss is pathetic right now. they've dumbed down his character to the point where he's comic relief.
bring back Father James Mitchell, have Abyss turn on Foley & destroy him..
