Watched TNA yesterday (kinda) and I heard mention of a Knockouts Tag title. How do you guys feel about this?
On one hand, I can understand TNA trying to capitalize on the popularity of the Knockouts division, its one of the only things they are doing right (btw is Cody Deaner the new Knockouts champ? WTF). But is the division deep enough to support it?

I think it's a good idea...actually I wish WWE would of went with the decision of a Women's Tag Belt...rather then another Women's Championship...that being the Diva's title.
But when Deaner is the champ...it's hard to take seriously. It's not different then Santino being involved with the women's division.
I hope that Alissa Flash and Sarita get the belt, I think that be pretty entertaining. Since they are rivals that hate each other. I think back to when Kurt Angle and Chris Beniot were champs...that was good tv. I'd like to see something similar with Alissa and Sarita...both of them need gold.

Cody Deaner isnt the Knockouts Champion. ODB is. She was announced as the new champion and is listed as the champion on TNA website. Deaner just thinks he should be champion, he isnt actually.
In regards the tag titles, It's an eight team tournament (According to Mike Tenay anyway) but I can only figure out five of them.
Kong and Saeed (Confirmed)
Hemme and Tara (Confirmed)
Velvet and Angelina
Sarita and Taylor (Confirmed)
Traci and Sharmell (Confirmed)
The other Knockouts are Alissa Flash (Who is already in as Saeed) Daffney, Hamada (Yet to debut), Rayne, ODB (Knockouts Champion so unlikely), Rhaka Khan (Hasent been used in Months) and SoJo Bolt.

SoJo and Khan?
Rayne and Hamada?
It would probably be a good idea to bring in a few new talents even just for the tournament to make it more competive as there are really only four teams likely to win (Kong/Saeed, Hemme/Tara, TBP & Sarita/Taylor).
I think it's a good idea to introduce tag titles but I do think they will struggle to fit all the titles in every week. There has been talk for quite a while of a second show being Knockout exclusive, maybe they already have that agreed and this is to add more to the show when it debuts.

sounds like a decent idea since tna have lots of knockouts but id have had a cruiserweight tag titles so teams like lethel consequences mtcmg and maybe bring a few more in would have made more sense too me
Well they got a lot of knockouts so why not. I am just thinking that the actual knockouts title is going to get underused like it is now.The division is deep enough because they got about 6 teams if you think about it.

Yea i wish that they would let them compete in a tag team division as well but i am just wondering what is going to happen to the singles knockout championship.

-TNA Tag Team Knockout Champions is something that I'm a little shaky on, but I have to say they are constantly the highest rated segment, why would they put them on twice a show? I mean they should definitely kill the IWGP and Legend belts, but either way I'm looking to see how the Tag Belts are carried out.
Take Melissa out of the burka Hamada will debut as well and I really can't see fail in either Division
