Ever since Gail left, I think most people would agree the Knockouts went from a good-great division to a decent division at best. They lacked some of the explosive in ring talent that was the initial appeal and of course they lost Scott D'amore.
With that said, due to three individuals I think the Knockout division has potential to take off again. With news of Dutch being booted and Scott becoming Knockouts booker again, I think it's safe to say that Scott has a better grasp of the Knockouts opposed to Dutch.
Besides that, everyone was excited for Tara to come in and "show what she can do" and maybe it's just me but besides longer matches, she hasn't done much different than she's done for years. Not exactly exciting. But now, with the two newest Knockouts in Alissa Flash and Sarita who already seem leaps and bounds better than all but Kong, I think the division could finally pick up. The Knockouts started to become dull but now with in ring talent, diverse looks and gimmicks, etc. I think it's possible that the Knockouts really become a highlight again.
Agree? Disagree?

Re: TNA Knockouts Got The Boost It Needed *Not Tara*
To be honest I don't see the hype with Kong. It's like saying Mark Henry is a great wrestler. As good as she is at certain things, she is too immobile to have great matches. That's why I hope Beth/Gail happens in WWE because if they actually booked it right and gave it time, that would blow Gail/Kong of the water. Beth is actually mobile.
Anyway, I have limited knowledge of Alissa Flash and Sarita from outside TNA, but from what I have seen, they are hugely entertaining in the ring and definitely better than all the other Knockouts. Great decision to use Melissa as something other than Saeed, and she seems to have a good character now too with a cool new look. Sarita is just fun to watch with her high flying style. Both will no doubt bring interest to the division.
Aside from those two, Tara has been pretty good I think, Angelina is a pretty good wrestler, Taylor is quite good too, I see her as like TNA's Mickie James. Then there's Kong. They have a good division now I'd say.

I'd agree, as well. I think the Knockouts have a very good roster (though I'm familiar with a lot of the roster since I've just recently started watching TNA). But, from what I've seen it looks like the roster is made up of good "actual" wrestlers. That's a big difference from the occassional "botch-fests" that the "E" gives the world.

To be fair a lot of the WWE divas are "actual wrestlers" too. Beth, Natalya, Katie, Gail, Mickie, Melina are all as good as the best Knockouts if not better... imo. It's just that WWE book the women like shit and that is something TNA has over them.

That's very true. And, I shouldn't be biased. I've seen good matches in the past from the WWE's Women's division. And, I think - as you said - booking as a LOT to do with that. So, I humblely retract my statement To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Kong is a great big-man wrestler but is only good with small opponents. With Sarita it should be very good.
Yeah but they're gonna do Kong/Tara, and I really don't see how that is going to be watchable. Kong is only good with someone who will jump around the ring and bump like crazy for her. Gail did a good job, but Tara isn't really one to take bumps or sell a lot, and she can't hit any of her moves on Kong. It's gonna be awful.
Kong/Sarita would be fun yeah. Sarita seems like she's a good underdog.

Overrated by some maybe, but she's pretty good. I think the spider gimmick is slightly dumb but not terrible. She's not AMAZING in ring but she is definitely pretty good and one of the top Knockouts. I think she was a good signing and has been a good addition to the TNA roster. That said, I feel some people do say she's better than she actually is just because her finisher is so awesome.

Check out Cheerleader Melissa from SHIMMER. Alissa is fucking awesome, I <3 her in every way possible. She's not a typical "female" wrestler by American standards. Some of the moves she pulls out are just all shades of awesome.

In all honesty, alot of people focus on the bad wrestlers in WWE too much and don't focus on the good. They look at the likes of Ashley Massaro's massacares and Candice Michelle's poor showings and go "OMG WWE DOESN'T HIRE GOOD WRESTLERS!!!" and fail to see the likes of Katie and Mickie who CAN wrestle, but just don't get to showcase it because their booking is a pile of shite.
