TNA Changing Format Of TV Tapings
By Feras Ballout | August 09, 2009
TNA is apprently once again changing the way they tape their weekly SpikeTV tapings of their "iMPACT" broadcast. For the past few months, they have taped four shows within a span of three days in order to cut costs. Following their Hard Justice pay-per-view, they will once again begin taping their shows bi-weekly. According to TNA's page on the Universal website, they will begin taping on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th and then come back two weeks later on August 31st and September 1st to tape two more shows.

Personal Thoughts:
I can understand now why so many love the TNA schedule compared to WWE. With all the cutbacks though, I was just wondering is there more to it than just simply cutting back due to the economy or otherwise.

How do you see this as cutting costs? Going back to bi-weekly tapings rather than monthly tapings adds costs because they are now doing 4 tapings a month rather than 3.
I am glad. It was annoying seeing a whole month ruined by spoilers, it also gave TNA no room to change things.
